omg, what a fantastic  experience we had this evening for a special birthday. couldnt fault service or quality of the food. our waitress sarah was delightful.  would go back again just for steak and lobster.

it was an experience to share with loved ones, which it was, mum, dad and daughter for dad's 70th.

went here on friday night with my wife. the setting is brilliant , right on the waters edge. i had bruschetta for an entree and it was very nice if not a little big. my wife had the bug gratin which she found a little chewy.
for mains i had chicken oscar. the seafood was like rubber the potatoe inedible. the chicken was ok but no better than anyone could do at home. it was certainly not worth $44.85.
my wife had the prime rib which she did not finish saying it tasted boiled.
i had a gin and tonic. the gin came in a tumbler with ice and lemon $10.35. then they give you a bottle of tonic water, small, $6.33. that's a $16.68 drink. theres getting touched and then theres getting touched. my wife had a junior jones pinot noir $10.93. thats about average, and it tasted ok probably because it had nothing to do with the kitchen. all in all a very average meal in a nice setting with good service and we left $157.56 on the counter

food is pretty good, but for the price you would hope so! service was not great. staff are pleasant but make many mistakes. it wasn't a very busy night so i think they just weren't on the ball. would be a lovely place for a romantic meal, and the view is great. has everything you want in a high end restaurant but just didn't pull it off the night we went 😟

we went to latitude 32 with high expectations but unfortunately came away disappointed. the prices were certainly above average but it was difficult to reconcile those high prices with the below average food that was served. to add to our disappointment they informed us that they would charge $25 corkage if we chose to open our bottle of wine (a wine not on their wine list) we will not be returning as it is rather easy to find restaurants with similar or better quality food and service at a much more realistic price

we love latitude 32. with not many options by way of good food down in rockingham, this place is a hidden gem. if you just take a few fortunate steps past sunsets on the beach, you will be there.
the daily changing tasting plate is excellent - we always start with this and a glass of their house bubbly, which is also lovely.
our favourite dish so far is their gnocchi - even without the meat additions, this is a beautiful little comfort dish.
you obviously cant go past the views at this restaurant - as the sun is setting, they are to die for. a great place to take friends, family or tourists. what a wonderful way to show off the state we live in...
and lastly, the staff are what make us keep coming back. i don't usually find myself wanting to tip waitstaff in perth, but there hasn't been one instance where we have left without tipping. they are such happy and considerate people. very friendly, chatty and wanting to help. i hope the owner/s know what fantastic people they have on staff and praise them accordingly :)

i went to latitude 32 with high expectations, having heard only good things from family & friends. however, my wife and i were a little disappointed with our experience.

we started with an entree of mushrooms stuffed with brie cheese, consisting of 2 small stuffed and crumbed mushrooms with 2 tablespoons worth of side salad..... for $16! the mushrooms were very bland, but the crumb was crunchy. a very mediocre entree.

main course of king george whiting, chorizo croquettes, & a pumpkin & rocket salad was a huge let down. for a start, there was no rocket whatsoever. instead, in its place was cos lettuce... making for a very bland salad. the whiting, 2 small fillets, was cold & overcooked... a big disappointment considering the $44 price tag. the chorizo croquettes were delicious & well cooked (if only i'd ordered a plate of these).

the highlight was our main of rib eye steak with garlic prawns. the steak was one of the best i've had, cooked as ordered & seasoned perfectly. the prawns however were utter crap, obviously the frozen, imported variety. garlic prawns had no garlic, resulting in an extra $4 order of garlic sauce.

location was beautiful. background music was that of a dodgy nightclub. service was okay, though not what you'd expect considering the average price of meals etc. a very average experience.

approved. a true diamond in the rough. this venue has arguably the best view within the metro area. nice fit out with engaging local staff. a cold pint of perroni on a balmy summer night at latitude 32 is on this pilgrims "to do again" list.

dined at latitude 32 last night with my wife and having been before looked forward to a nice dining experience in what is a nice venue but unfortunately ended up feeling that i should have just cooked dinner at home.
i'm not a difficult customer to please but when i'm paying for a food experience that is pushing itself as a finer dinning restaurant with the price tag to match i think you have an obligation to not have customers walking away feeling like a failed punter.
i ordered a bottle of shiraz and though it was cheap compared to the other listings, it was that bad i couldn't drink it.. i mean it was worse than the $6 bargain bin of dan murphy's..
i should have stayed at home, put a piece of pork belly on my weber, a sara lee desert and picked up a $12 bottle of shiraz… i'm not a chef but would have knocked this experience out of the park..
this is a real shame as it has probably the best locations in the area..

went on a friday afternoon and got outside seating because the view was beautiful. all staff were bubbly and provided a very welcoming environment as soon as you step in. our waitress was very attentive and absolutely wonderful. we started with some cheesy garlic bread and chilli mussels. both were awesome and came out fairly quickly. we ended up asking for more bread to slop up the rest of the sauce from the chilli mussels.
i ordered the philly and cheese steak sandwich which came with a side of chips, salad, jus for dipping as well as garlic aioli! costed about $20, my boyfriend and our friend both got the fish and chips which also came with some salad and tarter sauce. fish was crispy and wasn't dry. we had no problems on our end, but i do believe the table next to us may have received some cold scallops where the waitress sincerely apologised for and did the best she could to compensate for them. over all was a very pleasant experience and would recommend!

four of us dined at latitude 32 on a blustery, stormy winter's night. it
was warm and welcoming inside.

the location and view are superb. all our wait staff were friendly and
attentive.

the menu was impressive with reasonable prices and the food was served in a
timely manner.

we all enjoyed our meals and our time together, but the intrusion of
noise from distant tables took the edge off any sense of intimacy.

it wouldn't take much to elevate the place into the league of fine dining. some
tablecloths and other touches would add some flair. cleaning the menus before
presentation and correcting the grammar inside would remove the sorts of barbs
that hold me back from awarding five stars.

nonetheless, i'm sure we will visit latitude 32 again.

we had our work lunch here on sunday (21/6/15) and was pleasantly surprised. i had the the pork belly for entree which hit the spot with the boss lady having the escargot which is not something i would ever order but both loved the dish. for main i had the blue cheese striploin cooked medium rare which was cooked perfectly and really was one of the tastiest i've had. everyone enjoyed their meal but we did notice that medium and medium rare did differ between our dishes but the flavour more than made up for it. for dessert i had the rhubarb cheesecake which i wasn't overly excited by but it was nice nonetheless and everyone else enjoyed their dessert. the wines that accompanied the meals were also well liked, all in all we had a great lunch that didn't command perth's highest prices. well worth a visit.

great food poor service. the food -although it took some time-was delicious. the food was well cooked and presentable. unfortunately the waitresses who served us looked irritated and tired and seemed to be annoyed by our numerous queries about the food. also the lack of sincerity in their customer service left us a bit perplexed. i would advise anyone who wants to go and eat here to scout the place before you decide to invite guests/ celebrate sentimental events there.
