i really love the old-world charm of landour bakehouse. the carrotcakeand hot chocolate was excellent. so were the stick-jaws. what i wasnt impressed with was the rose-almondcake- it didnt taste as lovely as it looked.
however, overall, great experience and i’d totally visit again.

i have been here several times. any dessert you eat here will be soo good. the crepes are amazing. stick jaws taste like heaven they will melt in your mouth. my favourite is the lemon tart, almond rosecakethese are less sweet. red velvetcakeis more sweet and tastes wonderful.

we tried orangecakewhich was dry smelly and not at all fresh, eclairs were soggy, most of the things were sold out.!! they were even out of milk, the place has the worst management possible,
we made a 2 hour journey, through a very very steep dangerous and jam packed road, and had to wait for 1 hour and there was nothing left to eat, they should have informed us that they were out of stock.!!

love, love, and only love for this place! this cozy, rustic, and goddamn beautiful place has my heart since the first time i visited it.

they have a small menu but everything is delightful. i love the carrotcakeand tiramisu. tried their cheese garlic croissant (yum!) and cinnamon roll (too sweet for my taste but still yum), and hot chocolate (perfect!).

the decor, charm, vintage-vibes, hospitality, no network, and all the things they've put together to make this beautiful genuinely sets it apart.

you cut off from everything and enjoy the moment. that's what they even suggest you do.

i want to applaud their staff as they are kind, polite and warm. they are also strict about masks so that's another star for them.

if you are in the vicinity, you have to be here.

i had the rose and almond cake. it was way too delicious. thecakewas way too soft also unexpectedly so yum. the presentation and the place was also pretty. it truly helped me satisfy mycakecravings. 🥺❤

you really want to enjoy hot chocolate and some amazing tart on a chilling cold evening.

we also ordered coffee flavoredcakewhich was very soft and very tasteful.

so i ordered cafe latte along with coconut cheesecakeand chocolate crossaiant. i loved the cheesecakeit had perfect taste or coconut inside and out side , the coffee was also very good to amazing to enjoy with the view . crossaiant was good but i prefer it to be cold and i got mine worm so it was to sweet for me . but overall nice experience

the food was decent. the crepe’s were alright. the coconut cheesecakewas good. the overall experience was good.

nestled in the foothills of the mighty himalayas lies a small hill town of landour which houses a 175 years old hotel rokeby manor. a subsidiary of which is the the landour bakehouse.

started in the 1800’s the cafe still uses the century old techniques and methods of baking and till date opens its doors at 8 am every morning for its guests to savour on the delicacies they prepare.

we recently planned a visit to the place and were struck with the awe of the history the place holds and the preservation of british architecture that the owners have done for the place. be it the original teak wood floorings, utensils used at the time of starting the place or a special nook for keeping books from local authors- a tribute to the weekly reading club which actually gave birth to the place.

we are a fan of the savouries the place offers but the croissant, buttercakeand hot chocolate are our utter favourites.

for all the people traveling to mussoorie, we recommend them to visit the place for a feel of going back in time and have a feel of what it looks like to be in a small british town!

the cozies and the most rustic vibes that a café can offer, this place has it all!

the ambience is top notch and is a hidden gem in the top hills of mussoorie. this is where one can take their loved ones for a perfect date and have the time of your lives sipping hot chocolate while viewing done the window panes over the valley.
we ordered a carrot cake, walnut chocolate brownie and hot chocolate. all of them were to die for although we found them to be overpriced.

another warm cozy cafe around the pine trees , over the clouds somewhere at heaven 😍

after a short hike up the hills to this spot in sister's bazaar, the cosy wooden interiors is very welcoming. i ordered bread pudding, carrotcakeslice, cappuccino, packed peanut butter cookie and walnut pie.
out of these the ones i would recommend are the walnut pie and carrotcakeminus the frosting. the subtle flavour of cinnamon in both pudding and carrotcakewas great. however the food items itself can be much much better. it's a perfect ambience for spending some quality time and i look forward to improved taste on my next visit to musoorie.

we came here when it was raining profusely. so this little cafe was a good shelter. it was a small warm cozy cafe since the british era. ordered rose and almondcakeand biscuits here. the ppl serving here are very humble.
both thecakeand the biscuits tasted gym. the biscuits were jam filled.

if you are visiting towards mussoorie, landour, bookmark this place right away.. this place is heaven of mussoorie.. landour bakehouse offered you carrotcake, almondcake, chocochip cookie , hot chocolate, cooffee and many much more.. the treak from char dukaan was worth the views from this bakery..

the location is superb!
you can spend hours here just walking.

we ordered coffee, a vegetable and paneer puff, paneer tikka croissant, a slice of butter toast, a slice of rose and almond cake.

the rose and almondcakewas beyond delicious. i have never tasted something so amazing. the puff was so different and a delight to eat.
everything that we ate here was better than anything else.

i can live here !

we come and stay in landour every year where the bake house is located. brilliant ambience, five star bakery, outstanding hospitality is how i would sum up the experience each time. the rose almondcakeand the blondes are to die for. you can conveniently skip the rest of the places in landour in preference to the bakehouse and emilys. of course for those on a maggi and momo tripshould look for other places.
