this is located at 5 km approx from mall road at height, wo if you decide to walk please wear shoes, keep your self hydrated.
there is no other place next to it, it's just one cafe there hence has the advantage to host all visitors. space is limited that makes waiting for guest usual for table. price is like metros hence no hill cheap food. we ordered a lot of desserts and shakes, the taste was fine.
outside view at distant is nice.

i really love the old-world charm of landour bakehouse. the carrot cake and hot chocolate was excellent. so were the stick-jaws. what i wasnt impressed with was the rose-almond cake - it didnt taste as lovely as it looked.
however, overall, great experience and i’d totally visit again.

a bit of european charm in the queen of hills! the trek up to this bakery makes the effort worth it, and rewards one's tastebuds in the best possible way! we had the mango cheesecake, which was heavenly. the lemon curd crepe with nuts was unique and flavourful too, wish they had lemon tarts with a similar filling! we took chocolate chip cookies to go, and they were generously filled with good quality chocolate chips,an absolute delight! can't wait to be back again. the view of the pine trees from the cafe adds to the magic of the place- feels like you're in a story book!

if you gotta sweet tooth then visiting this cafe is a must in mussorie.its slightly heavy on pocket side but the desserts are delicious.the ambience is cute with friendly staff.

i have been here several times. any dessert you eat here will be soo good. the crepes are amazing. stick jaws taste like heaven they will melt in your mouth. my favourite is the lemon tart, almond rose cake these are less sweet. red velvet cake is more sweet and tastes wonderful.

the cafe is overhyped and not authentic as it claims to be. most of the items had eggy taste in it and seemed stale

we tried orange cake which was dry smelly and not at all fresh, eclairs were soggy, most of the things were sold out.!! they were even out of milk, the place has the worst management possible,
we made a 2 hour journey, through a very very steep dangerous and jam packed road, and had to wait for 1 hour and there was nothing left to eat, they should have informed us that they were out of stock.!!

landour bakehouse is a place that’s obviously famous for being located in the vicinity of ruskin bond’s home. but make no mistake, it’s claim to fame lies in much more than that i.e., it’s stupendous food creations and variety in patisserie is quite impressive along with their range of caffeinated drinks.

coming to the food items, we personally went for the good ol’ cappuccino and some savoury and sweet croissants! the savoury croissants were a pleasant surprise and all the fillings were fresh and the croissants themselves beautifully baked and succulent once you bite into them.

regarding the ambience, we’ll it’s a small place but has very cosy vibes and a beautiful mountain backdrop which can be witnessed through the glass wall! a bit crowded especially on weekends and holiday season - there might be minimal waiting in certain cases.

price wise, the place is not extremely pricey but would definitely fall in the mid-segment in terms of expenditure.

all in all, landour bakehouse is a must try to revel in the history of the place and enjoy perfectly baked goodies with your cup of coffee while taking in beautiful scenery!

if you're into baked stuff, astetics, history, then this place is for you.
there's gonna be rush and no you cannot ponder at the table once you're done with the food.

i was shocked to see the bad reviews and then negativity around this place.
it's more about what you prefer. this place is not for everyone, it pleases a certain crowd.
& no there's no comparison between this and chaar dukan.
both belong to two different categories entirely.

its the most overhyped cafe. they kept us waiting for almost 1.5 hours and when we actually got the table, most of their menu was sold out! poor management by the team. highly disappointed.

love, love, and only love for this place! this cozy, rustic, and goddamn beautiful place has my heart since the first time i visited it.

they have a small menu but everything is delightful. i love the carrot cake and tiramisu. tried their cheese garlic croissant (yum!) and cinnamon roll (too sweet for my taste but still yum), and hot chocolate (perfect!).

the decor, charm, vintage-vibes, hospitality, no network, and all the things they've put together to make this beautiful genuinely sets it apart.

you cut off from everything and enjoy the moment. that's what they even suggest you do.

i want to applaud their staff as they are kind, polite and warm. they are also strict about masks so that's another star for them.

if you are in the vicinity, you have to be here.

it's a very nice cosy place, unfortunately there's only one table that can give you a view. but for all the sweet tooths, you should definitely try the place out, they have huge variety in sweet.
i didn't like the hot chocolate much here but super loved the warm brownies.

overrated place. whatever we wanted to order was unavailable. staff was rude. even during dine in flies were lingering around the food. we visited the place with great expectations but were left disappointed.

we loved it! so cozy n so beautiful ! really wished we got seating space inside unfortunately the place was packed so we packed some stuff! definitely worth a visit!

wish i could spend more time at this sisters bazaar joint. wish there was a place like this where i lived. recommended!
