a nice restaurant inside the grandmercurehotel. i went their with my office team and tried their lunch buffet. the food was delicious. the fish koliwada starters was very tasty. the butter chicken in main course was the best. the vegetarian dishes methi paneer and gobhi manchurian was okayish but the aloo gobhi sabji was very good. the assorted breads were not good and were hard. for desserts it was a mix of desi desserts like rasgulla, gulaab jamun along with mousse, tarts, pudding and ice creams. all in all a good experience. just the service to fill the buffet counters was a bit slow. we had to wait for several dishes after they were finished.

la uppu, the all day dining restaurant at grandmercuremysore has got lot of amazing national and international cuisine varieties. they have very good karnataka thali with local mysore flavors. the dessert selection is really good too. chef satya seelan excels in creating amazing dishes like nalli nihari in mysore style, papdi chicken and prawns too. would definitely recommend you to visit there for lunch or dinner even if you are not staying at grandmercuremysore.

they adapt local culture and tradition for welcoming the guest and u can hear the calm music inside the restaurant which gaves us peace of mind.
during the dasara festival one can see the procession from the restaurant.

means the salt. they have introduced 7 varities of salt.

they have live counters for pizzas and buffet😍.
the taste and ambience is awesome and definitely one will fall in love with it.

i was here for breakfast during my stay at grandmercuremysuru. excellent buffet and there’s a lot to choose from. i must say the place is an aesthetic delight with beautiful indoor and outdoor seating. peaceful ambience, friendly staffs and prompt service.

we had almost everything from one end to the other. they had live counters where you could get piping hot tea, coffee, dosas and so on. also, the freshly baked pastry session was a nice addition.
did i talk about the pancakes ?! fluffy and yummy, ugh!

what’s there not to like about this place. definitely recommended.

the all day dining at grandmercureis a pleasant enough place. however as far as taste of food goes, it falls short. being hotes guests, we have been having the dinner buffet for last few days but find the food very average.

the menu lacks imagination. the live counters are too routine woth hardly and changes. all in all avoidable

a nice restaurant in the grandmercurehotel. essentially a coffee shop which serves a super breakfast in morning and nice dishes during the day.
what sets it apart is the friendly and courteous staff. gautam and pranov will go that extra mile to make you comfortable and enjoy the meal.

as it was our 5th engagement versary we were planning to celebrate our special day. we decided to go to grandmercure- la uppu restaurant.

we were extended a warm welcome by the staff and were guided towards dinning area. we chose a table outside the restaurant, next to the table there was kids playing area so kids can play n dine together
the ambience of the restaurant is very calm and elegant.
we opted for al- carte and ordered veg clear soup, the taste of the clear soup was good.

in starters, we ordered chicken satay and chilly paneer. chicken satay was served with peanut sauce. the taste of chicken satay was mild n good. chilly paneer was spicy and tasty.

for main course, we took roti, dal, chicken creamy sauce pasta and chicken fried rice.

in chicken creamy pasta, big chicken chunks in the pasta wasn't fresh. taste of pasta was just ok.

chicken fried rice was bit salty. informed the bearer about salty fried rice. bearer informed the head chef and chef got us a normal fried rice.
totally we enjoyed this restaurant.

grandmercurestands tall and avid at banimantappa road, hard to miss.

courteous staff gave us a genial welcome and escorted us to la uppu restaurant. the place is huge and reveals an accurate quintessence of casual dining with a superior touch. an elegant interior and set up, serves indian, oriental and continental. we settled in for buffet.

around 8 types of salad and serving repertoire awaiting for the start. fish, chicken, paneer 65 variants as starters. you can ordered in pizza and pasta as well. thin crust wood fired pizza was quite a delight.

for the main course they had biryani, mutton gravy, chicken gravy, generic indian masala curry and few other decent items. the buffet will be some what sumptuous except for the desert section which we thought needs a bit of honing, may be that day.

service was affable, fast and subtle.

in our second visit, we had a chance to try the poolside indian restaurant as well. although decent, the menu is quite limited and we will prefer la uppu's menu any day over that.
