not to be confused with the keventer’s milkshake brand, this place near chawk bazar darjeeling doesn’t live up to its name. the pork platter that we ordered was average and tasted below average. the hot chocolate seemed to be made out of bournvita. overall a not quite so ‘keventers jabo!’ experience in darjeeling.

any type of milkshake, all available at affordable rates. the vanilla milkshake is my all time favourite.

we visited twice upon our trip to darjeeling in feb end 2020. we loved everything we ordered. loved the place, good, vibes. we miss it.

undoubtedly the best cafe in the whole of darjeeling. if you come to darjeeling, you must visit keventers and enjoy your english style breakfast in the rooftop enjoying the overwhelming scenic beauty of darjeeling mall.
we ordered the famous meat platter sourced from keventers darjeeling, which has pork sausages, bacon, ham, salami, and sunny side up eggs. they also have chicken platter also. the hot chocolate is another reason to die for.

food quality is just fantastic. hugely recommended.

if you visit darjeeling, this place must be to visit. there are amazing breakfast platters, with an open view 🌄.

keventer's is an institution in itself. it's a sin not to engage in some "breakfast love" at this place if you're in darjeeling.

all of their meat platters are exquisite, but i've always preferred the pork platter. in fact, their pork items are to die for. you can buy their meats from the ground-floor counter too. i'm also a big fan of their plain egg sandwich. but that one item which keventer's does better than any place in the town is the hot chocolate - always striking the perfect balance between the chocolate and milk ratio. 

keventer's has extended a wing in the last 6-8 months or so, which means that there's now a smaller queue of people waiting to get a table.

however, the one thing this place needs to work on (and this has been as constant as their quality of food in the last 6-7 years) is the behavior of some of their staff members. they are moody and hasty almost all the time, and they don't always feel the urge to respond to your questions either.

so if you know exactly what to order, then just place your order as precisely as possible, enjoy the view and the food, and come out with a happy tummy!

perhaps the best breakfast restaurant in darjeeling won't be an exaggeration, this legendary place is more than 100 years old and still maintains its authentic rooftop ambience. you must try their chicken/pork platter and delicious darjeeling tea. a spectacular view of mt kanchenjunga on a delightful sunny morning is an added treat to watch.

the place serves amazing english breakfast, specially the pork platter is a must try. although it ends up being a bit too much meat by the end. the hot chocolate was yummy.
the place was crowded as expected. line starts 30mins before the opening of the restaurant.
the only bad thing was that the staff was rude. they don't allow you to sit on the decorated part even if you're willing to wait. not a good service.

darjeeling is not only famous for its tea and tourist spots but also for the multiple eateries it has. keventers started by edward keventers in 1911 counts among one of them. order a full platter (salami, ham, eggs, meat loaf, sausages) and have your breakfast like the king's do. a single full platter is good enough for two. you can order a cup of coffee or hot chocolate or darjeeling tea to have with the platter. they also have a lot of sandwiches and burgers on their menu to choose from. it is surely not a place to miss out on your trip to darjeeling.

this is undoubtedly the best place to have breakfast in the city. try the breakfast platter. it's yummy. also try their burgers and sandwiches. nothing disappointed me. other must tries are hot chocolate and darjeeling tea.

best place to have your breakfast in darjeeling , the view from the reasturant is amazing , egg dishes , sausages are super tasty . must visit if you are in darjeeling .

i liked this place. read a lot about it and went their quite early before them started taking orders and took the best table available to have the mesmerizing view of the kanchenjunga peak. we had chicken hotdog, toast and chocolate milkshake. i liked the hotdog the most. milkshake and toast was good too but nothing extraordinary. loved the ambience and it was quite peaceful and beautiful with the small plants all around. i wouldn't want to come here if it is crowned. best time to visit - early morning when they open!
