probably the worst place i have been to or ever will. totally living on the name and fame. the service is so poor. thefoodis average. nothing to hype about. the staffs are extremely rude and arrogant. not worth a visit to be very honest.

keventers, one of the famous restaurant names very common with the tourists visiting darjeeling. from many years back had heard about keventers so much that this time we decided to visit here. although i had heard from some of my friends that the old keventers is no more and the service andfoodquality has degraded now.
we had visited in the morning time and the 1st floor sitting deck is beautifully decorated. it has a beautiful view of the surroundings. the english breakfast has always been famous here. we ordered cold coffee and smoked chicken sausages. both the items were well prepared though not excellent.
but the main problem was that we had to wait for almost an hour for ourfoodto come!! the staff came to take the order almost half an hour after we were seated at the table. i had to go 3 times to follow up with our order. not sure why the table service was so much bad.. and this needs considerable improvement to keep up to its name!!
hopefully one day keventers will be like the old famous one serving excellentfoodwith very good service :-)

this place is breakfast paradise. serving mouth watering continental treats, this place will make you want to stay. with breathtaking view of the himalayas on one side and the darjeeling town on the other, this place is a foodie & traveler’s delight. the decor is open & bright with roof top setting. we ordered hot chocolate, pork and chicken full platter one serving each, bacon burger, beef burger and french fries.foodis served piping hot with standard wait time post order. the pocket pinch is average and affordable.

had one of the worst experiences in terms of hospitality. in spite of waiting for long, we couldn’t get our order placed. we had to leave the place disappointed at the end. the place is nothing but running coz of nostalgia and brand name. no such lucrativefoodoption available too. overrated.

everything about this place is top notch. food, ambiance,taste just everything. a must visit for brunch in darjeeling. the hot chocolate was just amazing and the chicken platter was divine. in love with this place. only one drawback is that the service time is too long. bt thefoodquality compensates it🤤

2.kunga: ambience ok, little cosy.foodwas awesome. highly recommended.food we tried : pork momo ( best momo i have ever had ), glass noodles, mixed fried rice without beef and chilli pork.

the view from this place is really pretty but when we talk about the food, i'd say that this place is overrated. thefoodand beverage were okay. however, this place is not very costly so thefoodwe get at that amount is at par.

overhyped in my opinion. staff does not care about customers (you can wait forever to be seated or be given a time estimate for a table),foodwas quite average (had ordered a sandwich). even the staff behind the ground floor counter selling retail items like tea bothered least about the customers.

clearly a place whose fame has gone to the staff's heads.

another iconic eatery of darjeeling and a must visit place for breakfast. was excited to visit this place after seeing a review of this place on a popular youtubefoodweb series called foodka. also i was quite dissapointed with the pe backed , exorbitantly priced namesakes called keventers found in most shopping malls in the metros , so was looking forward to the breakfast in the original keventers. the pork sausages, sunny side up eggs with bacon and chocolate milkshake were all remarkable and hit the spot. another good dish was the pork hot dog which is different from a regular hot dog as it has no sausage but was indeed scrumptious. bit of a let down was the chicken cutlet which is also used as a pattice in the hamburger as it was quite dry and overdone. but otherwise a marvellous experience in keventers at darjeeling

my dooars and darjeeling trip ended with a breakfast at the iconic keventer's and the magnificent view of kanchenjunga!

i visited here with few of my friends on 31st dec. morning and what an end to the year. we ordered their well known hot coffee, pork platter, chicken platter and the hot chocolate. the portion and taste of thefoodwere too good.

recently visited keventer's, darjeeling.
it's a must-visit place in darjeeling if you are afoodlover. the place is famous for its outstanding breakfast and brunch.

in frame:
1.full chicken platter contains chicken sausage salami meatloaf & eggs
2. pork ham sandwich
3. pork bacon burger.
4. darjeeling tea & hot chocolate.

the taste of every item was outstanding especially the hot chocolate was out of the world.

the chicken/prok platter and the hot chocolate is a must-try item here.

pocket pinch: rs. 1100/- for 4 of us.

recently i came to visit darjeeling for a vacation. i know about the famous keventer's. so i decited to visit this restaurant to eat breakfast. when i reached there, i found out that there was a line for entering in the restaurant. we waited in the line for 30 min approx. then we get the seat. the ambiace is outstanding. the view from the restaurant is awesome. the foods were also good. thefoodwe ordered:-

okay so 50% of the reason why i wanted to go to darjeeling so badly was just to eat at keventer's haha

went there at around 10 in the morning and had to wait for around half an hour to get a table, it's always so full, especially in the breakfast hours. we firstly ordered the darjeeling tea, followed by two platters - one chicken, the other pork (1 platter is enough for two people). and lastly i got one chicken salami burger.

all i can say is that all that wait was truly worth it. thefoodhere at keventer's is brilliant, and i truly mean it. the only thing which i didn't like was the service, otherwise can't wait to go back.

waiting time is too long for morning breakfast. your patience will be on test if you're visiting this place. have to wait for half an hour to get a table. then you have to wait and be on the mercy of the waiters for your order to be taken. waited another one hour to place order that too manager himself came to take order when we insisted. by that time all the interest to eat in this place was gone.foodwas of average quality. visit only if you have nothing to do the whole morning and ready to taste(read test) your patience.

i visited this place a few days back but failed to impress me. it did not live up to its hype and my expectations. the view and seating area was nice, but the quantity and quality offoodhas deteriorated since my last visit. the platter tasted average. the staff's were unprofessional and too nagging. i have provided with the menu card as i did not find it anywhere before visiting the place.
