we went to keos last night, being 6:30 on a saturday, it was fairly busy, but the amount of time we had to wait between being seated and actually getting food was ridiculous, especially for quick cooking thai cuisine.
the first thing that turned me off was the dirty smelling rag they used to wipe off our table with, the smell lingered on the table long after being wiped down. the service was inattentive. 10-15 minutes to get drinks. just as many more to order. i also thought the casual dress of the wait staff was a bit too casual, a toque is not restaurant appropriate.
after we ordered, we waited for probably an hour for our food. thisplaceis not that big that you should wait an hour for food. the table next to us, who was seated probably 20-25 min after us got their food before ours.
the food itself, was good. not great. the pad thai came out with most of the noodles clumped together, same with the vermicelli noodles we got for our green curry. the pad thai was tasty, especially when you added some heat to it. the green curry was tasty as well, but would have appreciated some thai eggplant in it, and more chicken (although the chicken looked like it wa boiled). our third dish, dancing prawns, came out about 10-15 minutes after. although the rice for this dish was served with the pad thai and green curry..,so it was cold when we were supposed to eat it with the prawns. the coconut crusted prawns were actually quite tasty, they worked well with the slightly spicy sauce they were in.
overall, if you don't mind crappy service and spending a fortune (our bill was $75 for two drinks each and three dishes) on thai food...i guess you could go to keos. i don't think i'll be back.
