disappointing. on sunday evening in the broadway area there aren't many options for dinner -- after trying 3 other restaurants, we ended up at keo's. keo's had been on a my wishlist for awhile due to the earlier reviews on this page so i jumped at the chance to try it.

... i really wish i'd read more recent reviews before our visit tonight.

service was terrible & spotty. our food took well over an hour to be served and our water pitcher wasn't refilled (or even checked) once. the food itself wasn't anything special either -- the ginger beef was dry & tasteless and the green curry wasn't much better.

inconsistent portions. i have been to this restaurant a total of 3 times now. the first two times were pretty awesome. great portions and fast affordable food. i've had the chicken cashew nut on rice, two of those occasions. the first time, the plate was overflowing with food! this last time.....i was left to wonder "where the rest of it was?" not only had the portion changed, but the recipe itself. this wasn't the same great chicken cashew nut that i'd had before. get the old cook back in the kitchen!!

no problems here!. great food with very generous portions. i had the chicken cashew nut made for me as spicy as they'd make it. it was fantastic! my wife enjoyed the ginger beef but was expecting something just a little bit different. our server was not exactly the friendliest person in the world, but i'm there to have a great lunch and not make new friends. there was no charge for the take out container that we were provided. we ate at keo's on 33rd a while back and had to run out for something to eat roughly 2 hours after we dined there because of the small portions. i'm glad that with the change in location, came a move to support larger appetites! our lunch cost us approx $35 with 20% tip included. i've been back there once since may and it's my 22 year old sons favorite restaurant.

overpriced. we were disappointed with the high prices, and much preferred their 33rd street location. the service was slow, and the hot food arrived cold.

liked it better on 33rd. the new keo's location on broadway is terribly disappointing. when keo's was on 33rd, we used to go there every week. we new the staff, the restaurant was cozy and they played terrible, yet amusing music. it was a wonderful atmosphere! now the food quality has gone done, the prices have gone through the roof, and the staff are a bunch of uptight, hoity toity princesses! i got a gift certificate for christmas and just used it up last week because i was dreading having to go to this new location again. super disappointing!

disappointed. i have eaten at keo's and loved it when it was in it's old location on 33rd st. but since they have moved to broadway and 2nd ave the menu has changed for the worse. the menu has been downsized, the service is bad and they charge for any take out containers after your meal. first time i have been charged for styrofoam after paying for a $80 meal. not only that but we told the server not to include any peanuts or soy and she said it wouldn't be a problem and a couple dishes came with crushed peanuts. a friend of mine started to react and we told the server and she apologized and asked if she would come back again. i will never again come to this restaurant and for those of you who want to try it, make sure to bring your tupperware for your doggy bag.

wicked & fresh what a treat! for kids!. i've been to keo's many time, but never with my daughter's who are 6 and 3. they are not pickly eaters when it comes to trying new and exotic(well to them) ethnic foods. however this is a long way from from the "basic" asian, oriental or indian (very very mild) cuisine they have tried.
well they loved they gobbled up the jok senh soup, and could not get enough of the garlic and crushed black pepper dish w/beef and bird's nest w/chicken. while they didn't go too far outside their comfort zone, they still found food they loved and all the adults in our party could sit back and enjoy as well.
so, if you are afraid to take your young children to keo's thinking there won't be anything there for them, you are mistaken.

fresh food with proper price point. i can only say i have had one dish that i found to be salty, which is rare in saskatoon. all other dishes have been good quality (for the price point), with minimal use of salt and oil. the staff is so so, but are once again appropriate for the price of the food.

will be back. althought the food was fantastic and served in large portions the atmosphere of keo's could use a little work. although we went in the later afternoon and it was not very busy, the layout made it feel crowded and cheapened the experiance. service was average but due to the great dishes offered i will surely return.

poor service - bland food. my last dinner at keo's was appalling. our server was terribly slow and snarky, our pad thai was served cold and was bland.
our server came by when we were still eating to ask if she could pack it up 'to-go' - in the middle of the meal! what why?
total bill: $65 for two people, two entrees and 1/2 litre of wine, i would have rather saved $40 and eaten at the food court. subpar food, terrible server - would not recommend!

overrated. if you've never eaten thai food before, this place might pass for okay, but for anyone who's ever eaten decent thai food, you'll very likely be disappointed.

simple, yet 'cozy'. the food was very nice at this restaurant, i especially like the summer rolls. this was a great place for a relaxing meal - the staff was very friendly, and while it wasn't dead, you didn't feel like you were lost in the crowd. and with the good pricing, this is a place i'd like to come back to.

their iced coffee was also very good!

good choice.. great restaurant. the food was surprisingly good for someone, as myself, who is not an especially adventurous diner. the service was friendly and pleasant and i didn't feel like i was packed into the restaurant like a sardine even though i went at a peak time. the environment could be helped by a bit of dimmer lighting and a darker atmosphere, but that is a very minor issue. overall, good choice. very much enjoyed the pad thai and summer rolls.

what's all the hype for?. i was brought here by a proud saskatonian (i am from toronto) who boasted about the ethnic cuisine in this city. how disappointing to find that apparently one of the best restaurants is such a skimpy operation! my green curry was the mildest and the most watery curry i have ever had! it was a very watery soup. service was so-so but the food was very very over-rated.

go again and again. keo's is fast becoming my favorite asian place. the pad thai is great and the summer rolls are very well done.

awesome thai food. best thai food in saskatoon that i have had so far. decor and seating is a little sparse and bland, but it's ok.

the spring rolls, pad thai & ginger beef are all great! and well priced too...
