i really like the atmosphere of this place.  it is a greatplaceto meet friends after work, or on the weekend.  i used to go here regularly many years ago, and upon moving back into the area, i have rediscover it.  it does not seem to have changed since i left (a good thing in this case).

the food is good as well.  can't say that i always eat when i am here, but whenever i have eaten, it has been good.

this is a traditional english pub with all kinds of cool nooks and crannies! very cozy pub to grab a pint at 🍺 and although it's a bit grungy, i hope thisplacenever changes!

very cool old neighborhood pub. the food and service have always been good.the atmosphere is that of an old english style pub. because of it's excellent location we always find it a greatplaceto stop and take a break  i recommend the root top patio . fries are really good.

me favourite pub. i love this place! i have always had extremely friendly and polite servers and the food has always been spot on. this is my go toplacewhen i'm in the mood for a laid back meal! i've tried many things on the menu and none of them have disappointed.

went here for appetizers while my family was visiting from ontario but we decided on a whole meal! the quesadilla was gigantic...almost an inch thick! ordered chips and gravy which was also generously portioned and delicious! they cooked the bacon on my sisters burger just right...which she is very picky about!
will return, loved my lunch! didn't feel the prices were too high and enjoyed the atmosphere. also the entireplacewas filled so that must mean something!!

nothing special. went on a sunday, had pub burger. the patty was thin and small and black. basically burnt. i got a beer, a keiths, the glass was not cold so my beer was not cold eitherl, i am not a fusssy person and i was really hungry so i ate it. the fries were ok. the service was nonexistent. thisplacewas nothing specail. i don't care if i go back. many better places to eat in calgary.

one of my favorites.... as far as pubs go, this is one of only 3 that i go to regularly, because it's that charming, cozy neighborhood pub that calgary lacks. it's a great atmosphere perfectly located in a nice little neighborhood, and the area is devoid of the loud harley's and general "douche-y" people that plague 17th ave. i will knock thisplacefor one thing though ... the food. not that great, imo. the quality is definitely not worth the price, and the prices here seem really high for pub food. i try to come here for drinks only, which is fine by me. service is also excellent, the long-time waitress always gets me my favorite drink (great memory ... served me only a few times before !), and she treats me & my companion as if we're part of the cheers set. she always makes us feel like everybody knows our name !

i love this place. if u want good grub , this pub is theplaceto go, the food is at good price and the food is great.
it is a small pub and it is crowded but an overall greaat place.

great late night experience!. drinks are drinks, but the atmosphere of thisplaceis great and you should definately give it a go.

only been once, where the debit was down, but i was too sloshed to care. very casual, very comfortable.
