sadlykensingtonpub changed their chef. we are from cornwall, uk so naturally we wanted to try their pasty. it was revolting and nothing like the traditional cornish pasty. extremely disappointed. i have been going tokensingtonpub for years and every time i go, i ask what they have for vegans. all i can ever order there is chips and salad. it is mindless. even the vegetable samosas have cheese in them! i spoke to the part-owner and he practically dismissed me and said "send me an email", which i have done a few times over the years. can't remember the other dish we ordered but again, seriously disappointed. i will no longer be patronizing this pub. waste of time and money.

great neighborhood english pub with a quirky layout that reflects being in an historical building. this is a regular stop for me when i'm in calgary on business and staying in thekensingtonneighborhood.

a greatkensingtonstaple. this is one of the default places for us since the gf and i live in the area. the food is always delicious and tastes home cooked and the atmosphere is really laid back. your standard neighbourhood pub that never disappoints.

expected more. went tokensingtonpub the other night with a bunch of friends to grab a bite to eat. i had the burger and sweet potato fries. it was nothing special. thin patty and boring toppings. the sweet potato fries were soggy. my friends weren't all that excited about their food either. the service was non existant. my beer glass remained empty for most of the night. there are a lot of other great places in calgary and i won't spend my money or time at this one again.

i was recently introduced to this delightful pub by one of their regulars, peter (who should write a review as he is their every day) thekensingtonpub has one of the most diverse menus i have seen and every thing i have ordered has been delicious, large portions and daily fresh. the guiness is excellent, i am from england so i do know my beers. the staff are friendly and welcoming. i strongly recommend that you visit this wonderful fun pub.

great, friendly place!. amazing service, friendly staff and they are so fast! i didn't catch her name but she came to see us often enough that we didn't feel left out on the second floor patio! we'll definitely go back! favorite pub inkensingtonso far :)

recently moved from toronto. my husband and i recently moved to calgary we are close to thekensingtonbusiness area. we tried a few other places in the area and frankly were not impressed. thekensingtonpub is kind of hidden around the corner, we are certainly happy we found it. we have been in about six times and it has been very good. great pub food is the main reason we go the service is usually excellent and the girls are friendly, although at times the girls are chatting around the till and don't get to my husbands empty pint quick enough and he has to flag them down. over all this is our favourite by far even better than the pub it to we used to frequent.

great little pub! lots of character and a great selection of brew. our server was mel and she was awesome! next time we visit calgarykensingtonwill be on our to do list for sure!

we are new tokensingtonand have been to the pub three times. my husband liked the pot pie we had last friday and i really enjoyed the lamb burger our server was very friendly and informative. we will visit other spots but this is so far our pick.

local favourite.kensingtonpub is an established local pub that has regulars from the neighborhood plus lots of college kids and yuppy urbans. the best part about kp is the location and awesome staff and atmosphere, really friendly.

great food. i eat at thekensingtonpub regularly and always enjoy the food,daily soups are terrific as are daily specials,atmosphere is pleasant and service thoughtful
