good food - some items overpriced - bad service. i ordered the grandma-style hot milk chocolate which was great - very rich, creamy, and well worth the five bucks or so that it cost. i also got some sort of brownie with chocolate cake chuncks and the salty caramel topping (amazing!) - which i considered a pretty good deal because the brownie was a good size and incredibly delicious. my boyfriend ordered a milkshake (white chocolate) which basically tasted like a plain vanilla milkshake - for almost $7.00, it wasn't worth it.servicewasn't great - the hostess was pleasant and helpful but our actual server never came back to give us our bill so we had to go up to the front and ask. overall, i'd recommend the affordable and delish browines - i don't think the other items are quite up to par for what they cost.

sweet disposition. the name caught me immediately. my name next to my addiction. i am a true chocoholic and was excited to sit on the patio in the sun easter weekend and let juliette step in for the easter bunny and give me my fix.

i ordered the chocolate medley (juliette's intense brownie and a scoop of vanilla ice cream served with a melted chocolate sauce) $7.75. it was good, but i wanted more. is that necessarily a negative? perhaps an opportunity to relapse? yes and no. for a specialty dessert shop, i was expecting more of an over indulgence or sugar overdose if you will. as my brother's and mum's crepes arrived, i realized you needed to turn to the flip side for that.

over all everything was delicious andservicewas very friendly and accommodating; adding chairs to make room on the patio and bridging gaps in the language barrier. worth the extra 12 steps...or more from rue sainte-catherine to pull up a seat at the chocolate bar.

we ordered a chocolate fondue. as i don’t like srawberries, i asked the waiter to replace them with banana or something else. he refused to do that and told us that it is only possible with an extra charge. they are not flexible at all and this customerserviceis totally ridiculous. we will not visit this place again.

good food, long wait!!!. we went here for dessert. theservicein the beginning was fine. we were seated quickly on the terrace which was nice. the waitress brought us our water and took our order at a reasonable time. the food was good and came at the right time as well.the brownie is great, the espresso tastes great too.

after our dessert, we ended up sitting waiting for a long period of time. we noticed the same with many people around us. it came to the point where multiple groups were getting up and going to the cash themselves to pay and leave. we remained hoping that the waitress would return soon. we turned out to be wrong. i got up and went to the cash to demand my bill and pay so i can leave. if we didn't do this we would have been late to our next appointment.

good food, but theserviceseriously needs work. i noticed only two waitresses..... it is very necessary to hire more waitresses, especially at dinner time!!!

good dessert, but slow service. they had a real lack of servers when i went, and it must've been really hard on them since the dessert place was completely full of customers.
the slowservicemay impact your dessert, as ice cream can melt, your hot chocolate can get cold, and etc.
the desserts that i order whenever i go are always delicious, though, so even though they have slow service, i tend to visit regularly for my sugar fix.
if you love chocolate, this is a must-try place in montreal.

i've been to juliette numerous times and have been disappointed all of those. theserviceis slow, the restaurant is not well maintained ( it always looks dirty...) and as for the deserts, although they are tasty, i've been disappointed as all the ones i've ordered were supposed to be warm and were cold. getting a chocolate fondu with lumps is disappointing one would say. i would much rather go to cacao 70 which is much better !!

worth it!. i often regret wasting calories.....but the grilled banana crepe with ice cream and chocolate sauce was spectacular! it was expensive, but it was also huge....could have easily been shared. i unfortunately had to leave quite a bit of it because it was so rich.servicewas great and atmosphere was fun.

disappointed. today i stopped by juliette et chocolat on st. denis to pick up a gift for my prof and gifts for my family back in the prairies. for the few weeks that i have been in montreal taking a french class theservicehere is questionable. it took me a few minutes to gather my thought and figure out what i was going to bring for my prof and home. i asked the server behind the counter how long can the little pots of hazelnut cream stay in the fridge before going bad and her response was forever. (that was really helpful!) the server never smiled once or gave me a response ever time i said thank you. and it just kept getting worse from there. honestly, i would recommend going to the rue st. laurent location. theservicethere isn't the best but its way better than the st. denis location. i'm not sure if the servers there were having a bad day, don't like me because i spoke english or they just hate their jobs.......i hope this comment helps especially friendly tourists who should get decentserviceif they are going to be spending money on pricey desserts.
