best dessert!. great place for dessert for either a large group or for two! quaint atmosphere, friendly staff, decadent desserts with a slightly high price point. recommended!

worth it!. i often regret wasting calories.....but the grilled banana crepe with ice cream and chocolate sauce was spectacular! it was expensive, but it was also huge....could have easily been shared. i unfortunately had to leave quite a bit of it because it was so rich. service was great and atmosphere was fun.

can't go wrong here if you love chocolate. came to this location twice before they opened the new juliette et chocolat on prince arthur. love their crepes. if you come in the summer, i would recommend trying to get a table out back in the courtyard-ish seating area. it's a bit crowded inside the restaurant.

i have been many times to the one on st laurent and enjoyed it. tonight i went to the store on st. denis. paid 8$ for 1 scope of melted ice cream and two small pieces of banana-called a " banana split". had a burnt cafe late, asked to get a new one and it was burnt as well. i won't go back to the st denis store, its too crowded and messy. the one one st. laurent is better and not so messy. i will stick to the brownies.

disappointed. today i stopped by juliette et chocolat on st. denis to pick up a gift for my prof and gifts for my family back in the prairies. for the few weeks that i have been in montreal taking a french class the service here is questionable. it took me a few minutes to gather my thought and figure out what i was going to bring for my prof and home. i asked the server behind the counter how long can the little pots of hazelnut cream stay in the fridge before going bad and her response was forever. (that was really helpful!) the server never smiled once or gave me a response ever time i said thank you. and it just kept getting worse from there. honestly, i would recommend going to the rue st. laurent location. the service there isn't the best but its way better than the st. denis location. i'm not sure if the servers there were having a bad day, don't like me because i spoke english or they just hate their jobs.......i hope this comment helps especially friendly tourists who should get decent service if they are going to be spending money on pricey desserts.

miam!. hot chocolate ''à l'ancienne'' is amazing. a must-have while being there. all the brownies are good, i think i've tried them all, my favorite being the fleur de sel! the pancakes are really good too, but it's really big, you need to be two to eat it! :) same for the chocolate fondue (i think you can choose a serving for one person though). profiteroles are just ok. i didn't like the noisette ice cream. recommended!

not the best hot chocolate in montreal. i went there several times. the desserts are acceptable however hot chocolates are not dense. i prefer suite 88.

the crepes are to die for! the service isn't amazing but everytime i go it is super packed and busy so i don't blame them. definitely recommend this place for a little dessert night out.

stale chocolates. my husband was recently in montreal and brought back a box of assorted chocolates. of the ones we sampled, half of them tasted stale, and the others had a crumbly texture with weird flavour (probably because they were stale). these chocolates were extremely expensive, about $30 for 12 and were thrown as no one wanted to eat them. you could definitely do better elsewhere!

on my last evening of a recent trip to montreal, my niece and i decided to head out for a late dinner.  we really didn’t have a place in mind so jumped on a subway to st. denis street to see what struck our fancy.  we happened upon juliette & chocolate , at which point bekah said she had wanted to try it and i realized that i had seen one of their salads on a friend’s facebook page and i too had it on my “must try” list. i had the namesake juliette & chocolate salad which was an interesting combination of flavours.  mixed greens with strawberries, pear, goat cheese and a balsamic and chocolate salad dressing, it was topped with a crouton like object made by swirling buckwheat crepe batter in a hot pan.  i was pleased to find that it was not overly sweet but instead the dark chocolate notes and the vinegar was a nice combination with the crunch fruit and the creamy chevre. bekah selected the buckwheat crepe topped with pesto, walnuts and goat cheese. we were both satisfied with our choi
