joe's crab shack

nice and different experience, we had a lot of fun, nice and delicious food. you will never get the taste and different types of crab here in doha except in joe’s crab, the staff has a lot of entertainment first when they serve you the meal, then they dance. overall experience excellent.

been here 2 weeks ago awesome food fresh crab and fresh seafood and also the staff were great and the price was high but the it's worth trying at least once if you love seafood like me.

i have never had such a unique restaurant dining experience as i did at joe's crab shack. the staff were so energetic and their excitement was contagious. while the food was great, the atmosphere and the energetic and super kind staff truly made it such an amazing time. their portions were satisfying and i really enjoyed all the dishes we ordered. all in all, i think it would be very difficult to leave joe's crab shack without a smile on your face. i recommend everyone try it.

this restaurant is truly amazing due to so many reasons. it has such delicious food, it has such wonderful staff members, and it has such a friendly environment. i would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

an absolute stellar experience. the restaurant set up is super fun and family-friendly. the crew were very welcoming & the service was quite professional. as for the food, it was a m a z i n g. from the appetizers to the mains, everything was well balanced & simply delish. 100% would recommend

we have read lots of negative reviews about this place but stil wanted to try the place because we wanted to have crabs. surprisingly, we had a different experience.
1. the setup is very stylish and the decor is nice.
2. the staff are really friendly and helpful. the dance they do every while is very cute.
3. most importantly the food we tried was super yummy. the rajun cajun so good and can be shared, you just need bread to dip in the yummy sauce. we also had the sampler it is amazing. finally, we had the shrimp taco also good.

so finally do not believe all the reviews and try the place

i had a crab craving so decided to try the new place. well in short, i was hungry at the end of the meal with a good amount on the bill. taste was fine, nothing great. atmosphere is ok. servers are friendly and they have this whole dance routine and special way to open your pot and stuff.. unnecessary but fine. all that would have been way better if the food and the taste could match up to the hype they create. 
i had the garliky mussel which had good flavor, the fisher pot was just 1 snow crab, really small lobster tail, and around 25 clams. the fisher pot didn't really have much flavor so we used the garliky leftover as a dip. seafood is expensive but the correct picture should be given to the customers. the pots are not shareable. in fact it is not enough for 1 hungry person. guys if your really hungry eat somewhere else.

i ordered garlicky mussels, it's salty. joe’s classic sampler just ok. drinks are awesome. staffs are friendly and accommodating, especially kristel.

i saw lots of ads to the restaurant before i decide to go,
i liked the atmosphere kindly and cheerful staff but the menu is too poor and they publish photos showing the portion is too big but in fact it's not

we tried the fisher steaming pot, paradise platter and rockin shrimp popcorn

"fisher pot" was tasteless, there is no flavor just steamed with a lot of butter, 2 half small crab without any meat inside, 2 lobster tails and very little amount from small mussels " i forget what they named it" , and 2 sausage

"paradise platter" was perfect, i liked mac n cheese macaroni with delicious shrimp, fillet hamour fish was good, shrimp skiwear was very good , but the rice was tasteless and not salted, and fries was good.

"rockin shrimp" was perfect and the portion was very good

finally we tried two kind of juice, it was good but not perfect

super moist and super soft fish and shrimps!! loved the food,it’s taste, ambience and very cheerful and pleasing staff!! don’t miss out this cute shack for your sea food cravings!!
bonus is that they perform their cute routines while you lick away the juicy crabs!!

our colleagues told us that the food here are nice and they were correct. we ordered rajin cajun which is good and tasty. we also ordered the joe’s classic sampler which is really really nice. i enjoyed the calamari and loved the ball of fire. the nachos goes very well (for me) in their crab dip. and the peach drink (i forgot the name) i really like it. however, some of the crablegs doesn’t have any meat on it and the price is quite expensive. the staffs are friendly and accommodating. will surely comeback and recommend this place. 🤗

went there today. the crabs are awesome. the mussels are good too. so was calamari. everything we ordered was fresh. staff is very friendly. overall nice place to enjoy the crabs.

the chicken was under cooked even after sending it back. the jumbo shrimp was tiny. the fish fillet had bones in it and was also under cooked. the place is loud and servers are very quiet. the menu is a bit confusing. no manager came to see us, even though it is a newly opened restaurant and i saw him walking around our table looking at us. we left the plates almost full but he didn't bother.

went there on the day they officially opened. atmosphere is so energetic and fun. staff are really nice and helpful; they know what they are doing. food took some time to come but it was fine as it's their first day and they didn't expect that crowd. food is great and yummy we went to try a new flavours. our order was coconut shrimp with two sides: one pound of mussels along with king crab. now to be honest the portions need to be reconsidered as they aren't enough for seafood lovers like us especially for the crabs they brought us only 3 legs with little amount of meat inside them, but it was good. as for the drinks we ordered classic peña colada poured inside a whole pineapple (great idea 😍) and a classic margarita. prices are not cheap yet not fancy but i would recommend that they team up with entertainer to keep themselves in the competition with the other restaurants. 237 qr for two is not an easy amount to pay considering that i might find same food in red lobster or manhatten fish market who both have teamed up with entertainer. overall it was a nice experience that i will repeat.
