great little place to get fast hibachi. thesteakis always good. i normally get thesteakplate with veggies and rice. they have yum yum sauce on the tables (a mayonnaise based sauce) and you can ask for the ginger sauce. both are great. they have lunch size portions also. the rice is a bit bland. i might try the noodles next time. but the rest is good. it has a little outdoor area so you can enjoy the outdoors also. the outdoor area is covered so it's always in the shade, but it is on kings so traffic can be a little loud on busy days.

great food, and they deliver!. i have driven past this place several times and even read the great reviews here on urbanspoon and other sites. i was a bit turned off by the outside appearance of the restaurant and never tried it. well... we didn't have time to go out for dinner this evening, but we really wanted hibachi and this seemed like a good option. we were very happy with the results. my husband and i both tried the pick three meat dinner options. we ordered filet, shrimp, and teriyaki chicken. it also came with fried rice and grilled vegetables (broccoli, onions, and squash). the filet lived up to the top quality standards they describe. perfectly cooked, tender and juicy. the shrimp were great and even better dipped in the seafood sauce they give you (don't worry about ordering the bottle of the sauce your meal comes with plenty). the chicken was good, but next time i think i would go with juststeakand shrimp. it was not as good as those two options.
we also ordered the crazy roll. again, very good. top quality ingredients and it arrived perfectly fresh along with our dinners.
two negatives - the roll was 6 pieces for $7.50. i expected 8 or so. the rice is very simple. literally fried, nothing in it. it was fine, but i prefer there to be a bit more flavor in my fried rice.
overall, a great meal. very fast delivery. it got here in less than 30 minutes. the dinners were fabulous and very affordable. i will be eating here more often.

jimmyz original hibachi house gave us all the good things we like about japanesesteakhouses (like the food), just without the show. we found the quality of our dishes to be on par with most of the japanesesteakhouses we’ve visited in the past. we were very pleasantly surprised at how good everything tasted. if you are a fan of this genre of food, the hit jimmyz’s if you visit myrtle beach. you’ll get a ton of really good food for a really good price. and, you won’t have to watch someone make a vol

order was wrong. we ordered shrimp &scallops, andsteak& scallops for pick-up. received 2steak& scallops. the food was ok, not great, but not what we ordered

in shock!. a few nights ago my husband and i were looking for a good "quick" eat and were very excited to drive by a hibachi express. this was the first time we had seen such a thing. when we went inside we noticed that it was cook to order so that made up our minds but by the time we left we were decided on never coming back. our first problem was that it was extreamly hot and un-comfortable inside. i ordered a vegetable plate and it had a lot of char in it, as if the grill hadn't been cleaned, but the vegetables still had excellent taste. although my husband enjoyed hissteaknoodle bowl, he was turned off by the way the boss treated his employees. we heard him yelling and cussing and thought it to be very un professional. our servers were very nice and polite but you could tell they were having to smile through being yelled at and talked down to by their employeer. my husband and i will never go back because we felt embarassed to be witnessing such bad behavior from the owner. the food was pretty decent and the the place is well put together but there needs to be better attitude displayed.

awesome. cheap.. great delicious food. i always get thesteakdinner hibachi, it comes with veggies, steak, and a ton of rice. love the mayo sauce. the sushi is ok if your looking for awesome sushi go to konos but for quick cheap delicioussteakhibachi check this place out. the decor is less than stellar so be prepared for that. it can get busy at night so order ahead if your in a rush.

highly reccomended. i went to jimmyz last week, friend of mine had hiped it up saying how good it was so i decided to try it. id say i was freaking amazing especially at the price i paid. i know mysteakfor a girl and when i asked what grade they used they told me sterling silver!!! aka tendor juicy savorysteakand filet. so i jumped on thesteakmy guy friend got the filet. it was so good. i eat there about three or four times a month now, hit up the drive thru last night actually. had it delivered to my work. the hipe about this restaraunt i found to be pretty accurate. portions are great, price is very reasonable. not to mention the guys in the back cooking are very good to look at................. yum ha ha p.s. worth visiting this restaraunt for sure.

not the best, not the worst. i can say good and not-so-good things about jimmyz. first, this would not be my first choice for dine-in japanese. however, this is about the only decent choice for drive-thru japanese. but, because everything is so fresh and cooked to order, that means that you will sit in your car and wait and wait and wait. i'll just have to make sure i call ahead next time and then go pick it up. we are hooked on the veggie bowls. have tried the chicken, steak, and shrimp, and they are all great. i was surprised at how tender thesteakwas. i don't know what that other reviewer ordered when they posted about the grease, but i would not use the word "greasy" to describe anything i've ever eaten here. at other places, i have to use soy sauce or teriaki sauce to make my food more palatable, but i don't have to add anything to the food from jimmyz. the price is good too. a veggie bowl is less than $6 before tax. we get food here about twice a month now, and it's always packed.

very goodsteakand scallops! priced just right! locals populate the dining room. outdoor patio. big bang for the buck! will be back before vacation's end.
