terrible. went today from out of town seen add on tv how good it is was very disappointed thefoodreally sucked will not recommend or ever go back

this is a great place to eat delicious japanese without paying the big bucks! thefoodis delicious, the staff is always friendly, and the atmosphere is laid back. i never take a trip to myrtle beach without stopping in to jimmyz!

only gave 4 stars because they had no tuna, hence no sushi....that was the only reason we came.  they otherfoodwas good and plentiful for what you pay.....

close to home, cheap, delicious superbfoodand wonderful people
menu is simple and sufficient,foodcomes in larger portions
these guys deserve your business, cause they put out quality product
believe the hype here folks; this place is an absolute gem. get in there before everyone else figures it out.

service was great. myfoodwas out very fast. the prices were decent. myfooddid however seem very dry. that would be my only complaint. i might return in the future

you order at the counter and they bring thefoodout to you. great quality japanesefoodfor fastfoodprices. fried rice isn't the best, lacks flavor, but is amazing with the sauce. staff is hard working and friendly. dinner plates give you a lot of seafood options that are great but super cheap. huge portions. highly recommend for a cheap dinner night for the family

don't judge this place by the outside fastfoodlooking building.
thefoodis outstanding, the employees are friendly and hard working. a diamond in the rough.

while visiting myrtle beach, we were intrigued by the hibachi houses that looked less like the fancy steakhouse restaurants we are used to and more like fastfoodtype places.  they have drive thru windows. drive thru hibachi houses.  say what ? jimmyz hibachi is what we were recommended on the main strip filled with seafood restaurants and pancake houses. jimmyz sits on a corner without a sign so it can be easy to pass by (the sign looked like it was wiped out by a storm and never replaced.) it’s a counter service place where you order yourfoodand have it delivered to your table.  chad and i both went for the 2 meat or seafood dinner combinations ($12.25.) i ordered scallops and tuna and all dinner plates are served with fried rice and hibachi veggies.  it was amazing.  while i didn’t get the soup and salad you will get a fancier full service hibachi

jimmyz original hibachi house gave us all the good things we like about japanese steak houses (like the food), just without the show. we found the quality of our dishes to be on par with most of the japanese steak houses we’ve visited in the past. we were very pleasantly surprised at how good everything tasted. if you are a fan of this genre of food, the hit jimmyz’s if you visit myrtle beach. you’ll get a ton of really goodfoodfor a really good price. and, you won’t have to watch someone make a vol

order was wrong. we ordered shrimp &scallops, and steak & scallops for pick-up. received 2 steak & scallops. thefoodwas ok, not great, but not what we ordered

this place doesn't live up to all the good reviews. not much flavor.foodarrived cold. i guess it would be good if i had a few drinks, but not a place i will visit again.

delicious! i read the urbanspoon reviews and decided to try this place out. the place itself is maybe a little rough looking but thefoodis awesome. get the chicken teriyaki bowl. best of all they have unlimited shrimp sauce!

i dined in this afternoon for lunch and boy was i happy with thefoodand service. i ordered a low carb veggie bowl with steak, which was even better an i expected. cooked perfectly. the workers were all polite and very helpful when ordering.
i give jimmyz two thumbs up and i will definitely be coming back. definitely the best hibachi restaurant i've ever been to.
