i was thoroughly disappointed with this place. they had the worst service (being ignored because the wait staff is too hip to be social and welcoming is not appealing) and the food was all prepped beforehand (a made-to-order pizza should not come out in 10 minutes). for aplacethat wants to come across as handmade or crafted, especially by all the decor, it certainly is cutting corners in the worst way.

gave it a second change and.... kourtney, one of your so called employees kept me waiting for 15 minutes on a to-go pathetic cupcake. her attitude was less than mediocre. she ignored me! mind you there were no other customers in front or behind me. you know that you treat your hispanic customers like garbage, and on top of that kourtney, your employee, is a racist. do you think that is ok? because it is not! you should be more gratefull and embrace diversity. this is florida, not hitler's germany. i gave thisplacea second chance to redeem themselves but i guess even the american money i had in my pocket was not good enough for them. get it right if you want to stay in business. keep deleting, i will keep posting. trust me on that!

rude and nasty behavior. yesterday at around 6pm i decided to go to thisplaceto try their famous coconut cake. upon arriving my husband parked his truck in the handicap parking space located in front of the establishment. my son and i entered the store only to be greeted by a rude and improper employee (tall, around 50 year old guy). this was his approach: "if you are going to eat here that is the only handicap parking space for handicap" my husband replied: "i know, my license plate states handicap veteran." old guy had a nasty look and walked to the kitchen in the back where he stayed for most of the time. shame on you. this so called man was nasty, uncivilized, and lacked common decency and manners. why would you question us about being handicap? are you a doctor or have any medical background? just because we arrived on a truck does not gives you the right to give us an attitude. bad experience for us first time customers. my son and husband had the cupcakes. they were good but, $3.50 for a tiny cupcake? don't see why they will charge that much for such a small thing. will not go back and will never recommend thisplaceto any of my friends and family, not even for the excellent coconut cake, for that, you can thank the unpleasant and nasty guy behind the counter.

you won't miss the meat, mostly nice staff. we had a groupon for this restaurant that gave us a pot of tea, 2 entrees and 2 gelatos. it was a great deal. this is a vegetarian restaurant with lots of vegan options. but meat eaters won't miss the meat, everything is so tasty and there are plenty of egg and cheese dishes.
we arrived around 12:30 on a saturday afternoon. theplacewas busy. they have some outside seating in front with umbrellas for shade and a white trellis for separation from the street. inside, they have some two-person high top tables and some small square tables. they really need more seating because thisplaceis popular. the store is nicely decorated and feels like a garden decor store and is quiet enough for a decent conversation.
you stand in line and order at the front counter. behind the counter are several long rows of tea jars with all kinds of teas. we had the muladahra black, a smooth black tea with a medium body and a hint of honey. it came in a very large tea pot with enough tea for about 5 of their large cups.
the perky lady behind the counter was very patient and very helpful. we ordered the quiche of the day (broccoli and cheddar) and the mushroom and spinach quesadilla.
when it's ready, the food is brought to your table by a guy that seems overwhelmed. he was the only person there not smiling.
the quiche comes with a small, very nice baby leaf salad. while the quiche was good, it was just ordinary. the quesadilla, however, was large, very good, and full of flavor. and the smells of the vegetarian tempeh chili from the next table were wonderful. we finished with a small bowl filled with gelato. at first it looked tiny, but the bowl seemed to have no bottom. we could not finish them. the dark chocolate was a chocolate lovers dream and the cappuccino was tasty. the only disappointment was the tiramisu which was kind of bland -- more like a creamy vanilla.
i talked with the lady at the front counter and she said they are typically much busier for lunch than for dinner. we will definitely be back.
for the lonely guys, thisplaceis filled with women. go by and ask to share a table.

atmosphere...amazing. as a first time visitor of infusion tea, i enjoy the place. it's like a starbucks but without the "being on every corner"-ness. the only problem i have is that its far from my location and in order for me to get here i will have to take a bus or bike here, which i don't mind doing. the inside has a very relaxing atmosphere, not too many people. i've come on a day where a lot of female continue to enter. i believe its just the time of day or just the day. well, as i typed this a male just walked in. either way, theplaceis worth visiting if you want to get away from all the outside noise. really, i can't hear much of the outside, just the sound of the store music which completes the atmosphere. also, the cashier, who's name i didn't get, was a great help with me being a newcomer. the tea is made free leaf style, which is the best way of making tea. there are 80 different choices of teas and organic teas. there are also vegan options when it comes to edibles. there is also gelato, which i believe was my first time having. if i had it before, i don't remember because i don't have it often. that was delicious as well. i'd rate it a 10 of 10, because that is how much i enjoy this place.

i like it but...... ok the food is very very good and i love that they have vegan and vegetarian options galore but the staff is bad like real bad. i say this in hopes someone from theplacewill read it and make a change. they are snobish and rude kind of like "we will help you when we are ready and you will like it that way because you are beneath me". so to sum up, the food again is very very good but unless you too are a snob brace yourself for a little bit of chilly service.

one of my favorites in orlando!. this was my number one lunch spot when i worked in orlando. it combines two of my favorite past times...good food....great handmade items. yes, it has a cooperative gallery in the same space. it is a greatplacefor gifts!

ok, back to the food! the serving sizes are reasonable! yes, they are what a normal serving size should be and i for one appreciate that! the food is well thought out . nutritionally it is well balanced, and it is always fresh. they strive to use the cleanest food they can. it is often organic.

i love the quiche. it is so creamy and light. my only complaint is they often run out, or don't have it ready for lunch. the corn chowder is almost as good as mine! the menu changes seasonally so they are keep their menu alive and ever changing. truthfully, i have never had a dish here that wasn't wonderful.

they have the largest tea selection i have seen in florida. the staff is very knowledgeable about the selection and make great recommendations.

the owners are a young couple just starting a family. this is the kind ofplacei like to support! we want infusion tea in lakeland!
