imperial pizza

rude. ok, i know it's south buffalo, but do businesses have to treat customers so rudely? this is not the first time my order was incorrect. when i phoned to explain our problem, there were no apologies and no effort to correct their mistake. ehh ... not worth going back there again. pizza sauce is bland anyway. and expensive. i love broadway bobby's in lackawanna. imperial is overrated on all counts.

inconsiderate to customers. a couple days ago my husband placed an order at the request of my brother, who is now a wheelchair-bound amputee living in orchard park. he had been a frequent customer of imperial over the years, especially when he used to live in the area. as he is unable to drive, my husband picked up his two subs. that evening when my brother opened them up, he discovered it was the wrong order - a tuna sub and a something-that-resembled-sausage sub, not the turkey and steak subs he ordered. today i phoned imperial to ask if there was anything they can do for him, since he had paid for and given the wrong order, has been a customer for years, now an amputee, and was unable to drive back that night for replacement. i was referred to the manager who flatly stated that my brother should have called the day it happened, and that there was nothing they can do for him. how inconsiderate. my brother threw away the order and lost his money. thanks for caring for your long-dedicated and handicapped customers and doing such agreatjob with filling your orders, imperial. you can be sure we won't be calling again. you conscientious attitude and outright rudeness towards your customers is not admirable. hope when you are old or dependent on anyone, you will be treated with the same kindness as you show others.

best pizza...but.. the best but expensive pizza in buffalo, if ordered with medium crust. regular crust is to bready. rude mennising employees seem to get distracted from what they are doing to glare at waiting customers. definite management issue. norms on broadway and later in cheektowaga was #1 until norm retired. wish he'd come back. imperial pizza tastes amazingly similar to the well established boccie's, club pizza and norms pizza. hard to say why.greatpizza, management needs improvement.

seriously?.greatfood but not even worth dealing with the rude employees. i used to suggest it to friends and family but i wouldn't put them thru that for pizza and wings when there are hundreds of options.

$38.45 for a large pizza, 20 wings & bottle of pop??? are you kidding me? no menus or prices out for me to even look at? feeling ripped off. don't care howgreatyou claim to be. that's ridiculous.

poor management!!!. i have been a customer of imperial pizza for years, however i will never order from them again!!! i called to place an order and was put on hold. i was able to hear the workers in the background, and it sounded to me like they were either arguing with each other, or a customer. after more than 5 minutes i hung up and called back. it was 10:45 on a monday night, so i asked if they were still delivering. i was told yes, so i ordered a mini sausage and cappicola sub. the girl said, "so you want a mini imperial" and i said, "is a sausage and cappicola sub an imperial" and she said yes. i said okay, can you have them fry the cappicola. she told me it already comes fried. i thought that was odd, every other place i order from fries the cappicola when they make the sub. i also ordered a mini ham sub. our order was delivered at 11:20 and when we unwrapped our subs they were both wrong. my husband received a steak, cheese, and mushroom (which is an imperial) sub and he doesn't even like mushrooms. remember i even questioned her to confirm it was sausage and cappicola. my sub had no tomatoes on it, just ham and lettuce! they close at 11:30, so i called the next day and explained to the manager what happened. it was like he didn't believe me because he said he was there and the girl who took the order has worked there for years. why would i lie??? i wasn't expecting a freebie, but i should have been reimbursed for their mistake. he did say if i still had the subs i could bring them in and have them remake them. i didn't save them because my husband was so pissed he threw his out and i did eat mine after i sliced my own tomatoes and put them on!!! it cost me $17.00 and a $3.00 tip for the delivery, and this is the response i get from a manager! they do havegreatpizza, but this is buffalo and there are plenty of other places i will give my business too!!! i will be sure to let anybody i talk to about pizza places to know of my experience and refer them to other places, such as bella.. abbott.. pasquales.. and the list goes on!!!

lies. made an order for a half pizza and 20 wings and they charged me nearly $40 dollars and the delivery guy said the prices went up, total bs, will pay to close the place, or send every over to bella pizza which will takegreatcare of anybody for a fair price andgreatfood

just so everyone knows that there is no such thing as an imperial pizza website, all of the menus online are not imperials, i think they do agreatjob and have the cleanest and best customer service in every resteraunt i have ever eaten at. they do the best they can to please every customer as best as they can!!

great pizza. last night we ordered a white pizza. it was wonderful, all the flavored blended for a totallygreatpizza experiance

best pizza in south buffalo. imperial has good pizza. definitly not the best in buffalo but the best in south buffalo. they havegreatcustomer service.

plain and simple. read all of the posts and see that most complaints come regarding the girls answering the phones. possibly, some new technology could help (caller id) but they are doing a fine job. when you're answering calls nonstop your bound to get some messed up from time to time. there are worse things in life.
regarding the pizza. it isnt new york style, its buffalo style. ny pizza is paper thin and yes awsome. buffalo pizza is thicker just not too thick. (chicago too thick) it doesnt hurt that its loaded with the right amount of everything and anything you want. lanova and bocce aregreatand there is no denying they are both staples of buffalo pizza. but in south buffalo (not lackawanna), imperial rules.

imperial is second to none. my wife & i moved from lockport to temple, texas in july 2009. texas knows nothing about how to make pizza, chicken wings, and sub sandwiches. all that's down here are restaurant chains (dominos, papa john's, and pizza hut). another thing that bothers me is the art voice "best of buffalo" annual voting.it seems that every year, lanova pizza wins. lanova is light years behind the food imperial serves. dave & jimmy, do you do mail order? it wasgreatto see patrick kane drop by your establishment this past summer. take care.

imperial royalty!. no indoor dining (or restrooms), but if you're looking for no-frills new york-style pizza, this is agreatchoice! each slice weighs about a pound (no kidding) and costs about $2. there's a full carry-out menu, but i would be hard pressed to choose anything other than the pizza. plus, you get to visit lackawanna - a win/win!
