best pizza place in town, hhoffaith is clearly too stupid to eat food. i read the reviews of hhoffaith and felt the need to defend these guys. they aren't customer service focused, i'll admit. they are incredibly busy due to having the best pizza in thebuffaloarea since bozanna's closed. the first review really seems to lean on the handicap of the customer that got a mistaken order, like it is somehow relevant. handicap people try and take advantage of others as well. if he was throwing out his order because it was not anything he wanted to eat, he should have called that day. it's common sense and i wouldn't have believed you, either. what is the alternative? free pizza to everyone who complains? be realistic. their second review is the same exact scenario. they've never once made a mistake on my orders, but i have worked at some pizzerias and i have gotta say, this must be your fault. decide what you want before you order, write it down and then order it.

i can't believe i've lived inbuffalofor 72 years and had never had imperial pizza before last night. it was superb: tender crust, quality toppings and huge slices. friendly service too. easily the best pizza i've had in years.

best in the city. i live in northbuffaloand work for the city ofbuffaloand our guys get pizza from everywhere they have the best hands down .but i do find when ordering a sheet pizza it's not the same for some reason .

best food from denver to buffalo. i have moved frombuffaloto denver 13 years ago and have never found food that can hold a candle to imperials. from their wings to the subs and all the types of pizza in between. they truly are great.

poor management!!!. i have been a customer of imperial pizza for years, however i will never order from them again!!! i called to place an order and was put on hold. i was able to hear the workers in the background, and it sounded to me like they were either arguing with each other, or a customer. after more than 5 minutes i hung up and called back. it was 10:45 on a monday night, so i asked if they were still delivering. i was told yes, so i ordered a mini sausage and cappicola sub. the girl said, "so you want a mini imperial" and i said, "is a sausage and cappicola sub an imperial" and she said yes. i said okay, can you have them fry the cappicola. she told me it already comes fried. i thought that was odd, every other place i order from fries the cappicola when they make the sub. i also ordered a mini ham sub. our order was delivered at 11:20 and when we unwrapped our subs they were both wrong. my husband received a steak, cheese, and mushroom (which is an imperial) sub and he doesn't even like mushrooms. remember i even questioned her to confirm it was sausage and cappicola. my sub had no tomatoes on it, just ham and lettuce! they close at 11:30, so i called the next day and explained to the manager what happened. it was like he didn't believe me because he said he was there and the girl who took the order has worked there for years. why would i lie??? i wasn't expecting a freebie, but i should have been reimbursed for their mistake. he did say if i still had the subs i could bring them in and have them remake them. i didn't save them because my husband was so pissed he threw his out and i did eat mine after i sliced my own tomatoes and put them on!!! it cost me $17.00 and a $3.00 tip for the delivery, and this is the response i get from a manager! they do have great pizza, but this isbuffaloand there are plenty of other places i will give my business too!!! i will be sure to let anybody i talk to about pizza places to know of my experience and refer them to other places, such as bella.. abbott.. pasquales.. and the list goes on!!!

good pizza. the pizza was huge! definetely abuffaloclassic, wings were great too.

best pizza in south buffalo. imperial has good pizza. definitly not the best inbuffalobut the best in south buffalo. they have great customer service.

best pizza anywhere!!!!. no matter what, all other pizza is going to be compared to imperial. they hold the bar high!
best for good old fashionedbuffalostyle pizza. thick and chewy, lots of sauce and cheese, spicy pepperoni not too greasy. yum, yum, give me some!!!

plain and simple. read all of the posts and see that most complaints come regarding the girls answering the phones. possibly, some new technology could help (caller id) but they are doing a fine job. when you're answering calls nonstop your bound to get some messed up from time to time. there are worse things in life.
regarding the pizza. it isnt new york style, itsbuffalostyle. ny pizza is paper thin and yes awsome.buffalopizza is thicker just not too thick. (chicago too thick) it doesnt hurt that its loaded with the right amount of everything and anything you want. lanova and bocce are great and there is no denying they are both staples ofbuffalopizza. but in southbuffalo(not lackawanna), imperial rules.

best in buffalo!. jimmy the owner still works daily as he has the past 16 1/2 years. they have made the best pizza inbuffalosince they opened.
