i personally prefer wood-fired oven because it makes pizza more soft. but the ingredients and the taste are excellent. if you like crunchy pizza this is the perfect place for you.
the staff is nice and there is a comfortable atmosphere.

what a beautiful gem tucked away in quiet little pocket of rozelle. fortunately for my family and i, we are just a short stroll away from what i consider the best restaurant in rozelle. the food is faultless. i have tried almost every item on the menu and cannot say i have had a average meal here. all dishes are well above average and the specials always keep it interesting. the capricciosa pizza is my absolute favourite item on the menu with the carbonara a close second. the pizzas are the best in the peninsula. ingredients are high quality and the bases are done to perfection in the woodfire oven. the service is outstanding. friendly, warm and so welcoming particularly by the head waitress who clearly comes across as loving her job and is a favourite amongst all us locals. i always look forward to coming back here with my family.

ravioli pasta delicious!!! i think i need to go eat at the restaurant!! pizza nice - loved the capriosca.

salami could be a little bit spicer :) will try again though !

first time here after finding the recommendation on zomato. this place is a proper hidden gem! a definite must for anyone who loves italian food! could not recommend enough. we will be returning!

service was terrific. everyone was friendly and polite

if there was one dish you could try here, it must be the zucchini flowers. soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. however, the linguine was just pretty average and you could probably prepare them at home. i had tried italian pasta restaurants which grew basil in their garden and made fresh pesto sauce. that would be perfect.

the best italian restaurant in the area hands down.
very family friendly, clean and comfortable in a quiet location.
the staff are welcoming and knowledgeable with the food plentiful, delicious and authentic.
a must visit.

so yum! ordered the gorgonzola, ravioli and seafood marinara. they where fantastic although the gorgonzola you can really taste the blue cheese. we also had a carpacco which is thinly slice beef with lemon and olive oil topped with rocket and parmesan and it was some of the best carpocco we have tasted! ravioli hand made and very delicate bur full of simple flavours. service is great and food fantastic. make sure you get a booking and dont go when the weather is to hot because the aircon isnt great!

have eaten here a few times and each time the food has been delicious, the service has been great. you can tell the gnocchi is homemade, just like my nonna used to make. the pasta sauces are delicious, salads are fresh, calamari comes fresh and hot and my husband really likes the pizzas and he is fussy when it comes to pizza. the prices aren't the cheapest but they are reasonable, you don't mind paying for food that is good.  the restaurant has a nice atmosphere too. i have a feeling they have a lot of regulars. definitely recommend.

an awesome place in rozelle, always busy so don't forget to book if you want to make sure you get a table. they do great pizza and pasta, the pasta del mar is a must try. fantastic service as well, i can't count the number of times i have been there.

a restaurant we have had on our list for a while and we dropped in on their last day before christmas break. lovely staff, nice wine and good food. plenty of fun had and a little gift as we left - see you guys again in the new year.

yes it is a hidden gem. one of the best ravioli i have ever eaten. great selection of wine and amazing pizzas. price you ask? well you pay good price for good food and service. would love more red meat variety in their already extensive menu.

amazing. everything about this restaurant is fantastic and sticks to the traditional values of the culinary arts; ingredients over quantity. in sydney there are so many restaurants trying to make it 'big,' but the secret is to retain the techniques of european cultures as this place injects innovation whilst embodying this. an absolute fan.

absolutely amazing restruarant. my boyfriend and i ordered the pizza and it was super fresh and had my mouth watering from the moment the waiter was in sight. the greek salad had the perfect amount of balsamic vs oil and now that i am back in sydney i will definitely be returning here soon!

a great exuisite place indeed. the only issues i have is price. i believe the price is a little more than it should be for such a place just outside of the city. food is tasty and service is ok.

long long time observer; first time reviewer. a foodie who generally has eaten to much to be able to write & ends up fading into the deep realms of a food coma, last night was no exception. when out i would consider what rating i would bestow upon an establishment and how aligned my experience was relative to others. i must say as i write this review the flavors and textures of last night still resonate in my mouth. the (literally) sizzling prawn pot & the simplistic penne i couldn't fault. the burnt butter sage ravioli was great and reminded me of a similar dish i thoroughly enjoyed at pendolino (ravioli di magro con burro fuso). if i was to be ultra critical the filling was slightly gritty but was extremely generous and nonetheless delicious. my picky partner who claims to be an italian goddess due to her obsession with all things pasta couldn't fault anything except the rosemary potatoes which didn't satisfy her "crunch" factor. never mind her they were fluffy and flavorsome. if you like a bit of extra spice ask for the chilli oil & use with caution, a warning for the weak.

the service:
no fault, not in the slightest: orders were taken promptly, plates were cleared on time and replaced without request: attentive without being overbearing. 10/10 cant complain

as i wrap up i'm salivating at the very thought of coming back to this hidden gem, even though i made an oath to never over indulge, less then 24hrs ago. the thought crosses my mind, do i really want the word to get out?.. i feel the urge to delete every word i've written keep it a secret my stomach yells. my brain urges to do the write =] thing.

if you've made it this far i guess you know who came out on top, do me a favor and give this place a miss!!
