hutchins bbq

hello consumer, hutchins bbq and .grill is the best bbq restaurant in all of texas. urbanspoon is posting and reporting on this website that hutchins bbq has gone out of business. this statement is 100% false. the restaurant had a small fire in june of 2012. do to the fire, the owner " tim hutchins" made the decision that because he was already making some small remodeling changes to the restaurant, when the fire happend he would just close the doors to the famous hutchins bbq that has been serving the great people of mckinney and the dallas- fort worth area sence 1978 so that he could make the restaurant bigger and better then ever to be able to support the outrageous demand for all the restaurants customers to be able to just sit with there familys and friends and enjoy the great bbq that they have mastered and perfected all these years. the restaurant is still taking catering orders and is doing everything thay can do to help and support there customers. the great hutchins bbq should be reopening in october. i was able to talk to the owner one day when i was driving by and he happend to be there the other day and this is how i found out all this info. so as for the the best bbq in texas being out of business, this is not true11111111 thank goodness! and to all. involved in the remodel, god bless and we can't whait utill the pits are fired back up and the door back open.

i am the catering director for hutchins bbq. urbanspoon is stating that we are out of business. that is incorrect. we had a fire and have to remodel. that's all. our latest opening would be mid october 2012. we would love for you to come in and give us a try or returning faces we always love to see. looking forward to seeing all of you. thank you.

brisket, okra, & sweet tea was good. was very crowded and loud. music was loud. overall i wouldn't drive all the way from wolfe city just for the food. if by chance i am in mckinny i may go.

i found this place a few weeks ago after they catered to my work. i am not a bbq fan, but this place ís amazing! ive brought as many people as i can and everyone has loved it. incredible!

simply the best. by far the best bbq in mckinney/allen/plano/frisco. ribs are meaty and fall off the bone. brisket is moist and has a great bark. turkey is real turkey and not one of those 10 pound pressed loafs. broccoli salad is to die for. rolls are addicting. they just changed to a new "free" nanner pudding which could make a bulldog break a chain. the price is right as well. two people can eat for the price of one meal at that horrible chain rudy's.

service is awful but the food is ok

delicious bbq. my friends and i like to come here for the all you can eat special. with a drink, it is roughly $16.50, but it is worth it. the brisket is fresh, tasty and tender, the ribs, chicken, and pulled pork are mouth-wateringly delicious, and even the buns are awesome. i would highly recommend stopping by.

people who like this place haven't had real bbq. their meat is average but the sides are gross and whatever they are trying to pass as peach cobbler is inedible. if you want real bbq, drive over to ft worth and eat at coopers.

great food!. i absolutely love this restaurant. it is by far my favorite barbecue restaurant. went there often when i lived in mckinney. i plan to drive there more often from my new home. their barbecue is to die for and the vegetables and sweet tea are great too.

it is good- good, just a little cold temperature- wise... food is good- best sweet tea ever!!!

hands down best bbq. everything on the menu is good. they have some good dipping sauces. best part of all is it's pretty cheap for bbq considering what you get. beats the he'll out of spring creek or dickeys

finger lickin. at 1st glance the place may scare you, not your typical location, however, the hole in the wall bbq joint usually turns up great bbq, this place was no different. if your into typical sterile looking food place don't go, if your into great tasting bbq, put it on your to-do list. the brisket is tender & you can taste the smoke, its outstanding, ask for a block chop sandwich, none better! jalapeno cornbread is nice & spicy also. was not a fan of the free peach cobbler, tasted like prepackage frozen cobbler) instead i went for the soft serve ice cream & added chocolate (ummmmm). next time your in mckinney, look em up, its worth the drive.

really good!. they make really good brisket. i love their pork. they fry really good catfish. this is some of the best bbq i've had since leaving tenn. (where, as everyone knows, they make the best).
