tom's is definitely one of bangalore's legacy joints. my dad has been a regular for a long while and now seemingly i follow. hygienic, consistent, polite and low on bs, tom's offers the best of mangalorean cuisine. my favourites are theporkpepper fry, squid masala, prawn cassi and the egg appams. it's the kind of food you will keep going back too.

a close friend of mine introduced me to this place and since then i have been visiting it. the staff is quite friendly. i have tried almost all the dishes here and tom's special fried rice and chillyporkis my favourite. as i have zomato gold so it is a added bonus for us.

i'm mangalorean and i get mangalorean food at home 7 days a week and yet i come to tom's because their food is sublime. their prawn curry,porkvindaloo and prawn masala is different from what i get at home and is absolutely delicious. i wasn't quite sold on their prawn ghee roast because it had potatoes. their service is excellent and the waiters are extremely polite. i will keep coming here, for sure.

we have been yearning to dine at tom's for quite sometime.last week,after a movie at garuda, a group of foodie friends, finally made it to tom's. 
the restaurant itself has an old world charm.the furniture has resemblance to the colonial era. apparently, it's about 60 years old.
the place is known for its mangalorean cuisine and hence we stuck to ordering what tom's is famous for.
we ordered the mutton ghee roast, bangda masala , prawn curry ,squid pepper fry , mutton ghee roast biriyani , tom's special chicken curry , mutton stew , beef sukkah andporksarpathal.
a huge spread indeed ,but considering we were 7 of us we wiped the dishes clean in no time.we kept on ordering fresh mango juices along with this food
the mutton stew and the ghee roast really stood out from the rest.
overall a wonderful experience.
albeit,i felt the food could have been tad warmer. most of the dishes were pretty cold. this kind of food,in my opinion would have tasted better, if the food was warmer.we got one serving of appam, by the time we tried ordering the next round , we were told it's over. it goes on to prove , how popular it is. .
the service was very fast and crew was nice.

i have been yearning to have sannas and these sannas were as soft as cotton and i may have cried a little too. theporkwas good too but wasn't what i was expecting. just a snobbish mangy review i guess, but overall quite good food.

don't know why this place has got negative reviews recently. i chanced upon this place and thankfully so. it was a wonderful lunch. the seer fish tava fry was delicious and two pieces for 360 bucks seemed fine. theporkvindaloo with sanas was delicious. i got prawns fry packed for home, which i felt lacked flavour. totally enjoyed my lunch with the fresh lime soda and the attention given by the courteous staff. would love to visit again.

the restaurant has delivered the wrong food.porkfor a vegetarian order? atrocious and if they want to close the restaurant early atleast dont accept orders instead of messing up this badly.

i have ordered 4/5 times from tom and the food is just too good.. especiallyporkdishes. beef is bit blend, masala seems not to enter the meat and it taste boiled. otherwise i love eating from toms..perfect forporklovers.

if you want to try authentic mangalorean cuisine, then must visit tom's restaurant. they are serving only non veg items like sea food, chicken, mutton, beef,porketc. it has 2 outlets one is in brigade road & another is in kormangala. simple designed interior.. it is designed like a old palace. specious though. staffs were very courteous. i tried a lot of dishes.. all were very unique in taste with mangalorean touch. basa fish kebab was soo good and fresh. crunchy outside & super soft inside. also had tawa fried bangda fish. it was also super fresh n good. masala fried prawn & chilli fried prawn.. both were too yummy, spicy. their ghee roast mutton was superb n amazing... soo tender mutton pieces. also tried their neer dosa and ghee roast prawn which super yumilicious. appam & tom's spl. chicken curry was also too good. their ghee roast prawn biryani was just woow.. soo yummy & spicy with juicy prawns. also tried their mussels sukkah which was also good. must try their sannah. it's like super fluffy, soft & spongy cake lyk which was soo good. also they are serving some amazing desserts. 1st one is choco caramel ganas, basically it's a choco brownie topped with caramel which was too good. & next one is creme brulee which was the star dessert of dat evening. it was just woow & super amazing. all over my experience with authentic mangalorean cuisine was good. must visit guyz.. u will definitely love it 👍

this place is famous for their mangalorean cuisine. loved everything about it. the place gives you the feels of proper old english place, they serve good food with their good history.
their seafood is a must try. all their dishes are excellently served to perfection. and their desserts are amazing.
loved their cream bruleë and their caramel fudge brownie was so delicious with melt in the mouth chocolate and amazing scoop of butterscotch ice cream. i am so glad that they did not serve a vanilla scoop.
their ghee roast biryani is amazing, and i loved their prawns masala fry. that has to be one if my favorite their. they even have amazing neer dosa, appams and sanna(tiny idlis) a mangalorean delicacy.
i would definitely go back there to try their beef andporkitems.

tom’s has the most amazing and authentic food, from ghee roast to biryani. the food was just finger licking good. it’s such a great place to go with the family. the quantity and quality of the food is really great as well. highly recommend the chillyporkand the ghee roast prawns. for dessert i recommend the creme brûlée and chocolate cake. love the new place, it’s a nice renovation and upgrade from the old restaurant.

mutton ghee roast is the bomb. prawn curry (cashew) is solid.porktends to have a looot of fat pieces so maybe avoid that. also chuck the appam- dry and bleh- and get idiyappam instead. 5stars cause of the mutton ghee roast. also it's a great place for am afternoon meal wherein you sit and eat for a few hours.

good food to explore. i had never dosa. beef,porkand biryani. it was all cooked well. good taste. bit improvement in delivery of times fast.
