loved this place!menuis excellent with great options. we got the chicken burgers which s everything you need for a burger. delicious bread, fresh ingredients and tasty sauces. beers were reasonable price. our server was friendly and welcoming. would definitely come back here - good vibe.

slightly perplexed..... i went to honey hole last night for the first time and overall it was a good experience. i had the buford t. justice sandwich. there are a couple of things that confused me about the meal though. themenudescription says that the sandwich has "sweet and tangy bbq sauce" on it. the sandwich was moist enough and tasted good but i could discern no sweetness or tangyness from the bbq sauce. also, themenusays the sandwich has pepper jack cheese on it but i could not detect any cheese (i looked under the bun and i i didn't see any cheese and could detect no heat from the peppers in said "cheese".) the fries, as other reviewers have said, are very good. the service was excellent also. i will go back to honey hole but i would not eat this sandwich again.

funkalicious.. this place is funky-fresh. the decor of the place is really unique without being strange -- i love the giant, menacing paper mache fish hanging from the ceiling especially.

the service was relaxed without seeming disinterested, and friendly when it should be.

the sandwich i got was massive (i finished a little over half of it) and really delish. i enjoyed how it came to me at just the right temperature for eating, so i could dig in right away without scalding my mouth. this place definitely gets points for creativity where theirmenuis concerned. i'll be back again.

perfect seattle food. this place is what seattle is to me. great quality food at decent prices, unique and eccentric decor and some great music. the inside is dark with crazy pictures and things coming right off the wall. the music is nice and loud so it drowns out everyone else but you and the people next to you. if you are on the uptight side you may not enjoy toe look and feel but no one can deny the greatness of the food! at night this place turns into a bar and has a fullermenubut its great all day long. i would recommend the el guapo but they are all great.

mixed impression. first visit to honey hole left us with a mixed impression. loved the decorum. loved the staff and quality of service. music was so loud it hurt and one of two meals was abysmal. the french dip (daily special) wasn't piled high like themenuboard promised and could have been beaten on flavor and texture by a 7eleven 20-hr hot dog. the four pieces of tough, gray meat was dwarfed between a very large sub roll with a layer of hard cheese that had baked and dried into the bread. this crushing disappointment sat beside a generous portion of greasy, bitter french fries. old oil maybe? i moved the meat to one half of the sandwich and ate half of that because it was just that bad. i'm normally a french fry whore when i let myself have them but these were so rank that there was no will power required to keep me from eating more than 3. cb loved his vegan sub and scarfed it down like only a boy with a hangover can do after suffering through classes all day on an empty stomach. i won't go rushing back any time soon although i know i need to so they'll get a fair shake. bad first impressions are hard to overcome.
