i booked a table for a relaxing pre-birthday lunch. we had a lovely time as did the kids - who roamed free around the grounds for most of the time. ordering at the counter works really well for groups and adds an extra level of relaxation.

the kids menu wasgreatand imaginative - although most defaulted to fish and chips this came in a special lunch box with a nudie juice and apple.

the cocktail jugs are definite winners as we move into summer. i had many contented friends and i thoroughly enjoyed my lamb rogan josh roti stack. i think the salmon taco's are next on my hit list.

dessert was next level - will definitely be back for the pavlova!

minor complaints - not enough duck in the duck salad, dirty water cups, a little difficult to get through on the phone to book/vary booking details.

i think this will become a local favourite ☀️😋👌

this cafe is light & airy and offers something for everyone. from brunch dates amongst friends or couples; alsogreatfor kids to roam & have a picnic in the grounds with their takeaway menu; older people lunching & wining leisurely; business people having breakfast meetings or functions. the food is tasty, modern & beautifully presented, fittingly so given that it is by the art gallery. lunch menu is a fusion of cultures with their version of vietnamese pork roll being made on wholemeal bread stuffed with delicious pulled pork, pate & crispy veg. other standouts are their signature duck salad & naked sushi. there are plenty to drink in the way of wines & cocktail jugs & plenty of cakes & scones for morning or afternoon tea. service is friendly but can be a little slow, but you never seem to be in a rush at this place anyway & can easily linger from lunch to afternoon tea.
