cafe has a lovely ambience set in beautiful garden surrounds. general noise level low, so chatting to partner/friends is easy.coffeegood, high prices for a mediocre meal, $25.00 for bowl of chips and 2 thin pieces of very ordinary tasting fish a big letdown . the $30.00 each person security booking fee for internal seating also a put off.

may 2015: the new management have transformed this place. the location was always beautiful, now the decor is cool and offerings are far more interesting.

march 2016: hubris. i've been here many times and things have worsened with each visit. the location and decor are great, the food and service are not.

understaffing means glacially slow service: 30min forcoffeeand 40 mins for breakfast for 2. the eggs were overcooked and by the time they arrived, they were stone cold. i didn't fancy waiting longer for a replacement. i can't see myself going back to try them again anytime soon. bummer.

love the newly refurbished cafe & menu. only criticism last week was that the kids' breakfast wasn't as amazing as ours. the sourdough was thick & hard to eat and none of the three kids (10,11,12 years) could eat the scrambled eggs. we would come back and try again through ascoffee& avocado smash were wonderful

the atmosphere and outdoor area are lovely. the food is pretty good but the service is disorganised. i'm a regular but perhaps i'm too tolerant. scones andcoffeecan be a 30min wait.coffeeto take away can be a 30 min wait. really disappointing to see my scones sitting on a bench going stale on a hot day while the staff stand around talking about the weekend.

breakfast is a no go. always at least 1 hour for food. wish we could buy drinks in the evening too but they close too early. so much potential....😞

the place is beautiful, for that they get a 2. however the service is outrageous. for acoffeeand a cake priced at $14 we had to wait 1hr. the cake was tasteless and thecoffeecold.
