for a quick breakfast in an otherwise busy morning, i dropped by hazelhurst café, located within the regionalgalleryand arts centre on the kingsway. i remember being very impressed by this café when i came for a family event some ten years ago, so i was very curious to see how i would find it today.

hazelhurst cafe is located inside the hazelhurst artgalleryand you wouldn't know it was there unless you were told. its a young hip and vibrant cafe that appeals to all ages. rustic style furniture and decor with modern style art decals on the walls.
food is great. never had a bad meal there however can be expensive for light lunch.
had the duck salad and souvlaki plate. both were pretty tasty.

hidden in the hazelhurst artgalleryis a really nice family-friendly cafe. the place is full of flowers and light. food was nice as well as presentation.

thegallerycafé is located within the hazelhurst regionalgalleryand arts centre in gymea. it has a wonderful outdoor dining section that is perched perfectly over the parklands and sand pit. the meals are generous. but be wary of crowds on a thursday due to their kids arts programs.

thegallerycafé is situated within the hazelhurst regionalgalleryand arts centre in gymea. it overlooks the parkland gardens and is the perfect place to relax in after visiting the gallery. little miss and i visited thegallerycafé yesterday with her ‘besties’ and their mums in tow. we arrived at 9.45am and (unfortunately) just missed the little looks program. this is an arts and crafts program ($8) which runs every thursday from 9.30-10.30am for children aged 18months-3years. there is also a preschooler program available as well.
