everyone loves cheese. hammontree's offers agreatvariety of cleverly named sandwiches that showcase cheeses that you won't usually find at a sandwich shop. thankyou hammontrees for introducing me to cheeses other than american and chedder.

creative and fun. such an original and creative place with novel sandwiches,greatcrab bisque, and the best savory sweet potato fries ever! the dessert with blueberries was outstanding as well. will be back whenever we are in the dickson street area.

this used to be agreatplace to eat but has really gone downhill the last few times i have been here, so much that after my most recent visit i will not return. i was served the wrong sandwich, after i informed our waitress she conveniently "found" my correct sandwich, which was half of a sandwich (the other half was burnt with no filling). i was sad to receive such bad quality along with a snarky attitude from our waitress as if it was my fault for pointing out i had received the wrong sandwich.

incredibly delicious food andgreatservice. i have been here several times and have never been disappointed. all of the sandwiches are brilliantly composed so that every ingredient plays well with others. the cocktails are expertly mixed. the waitstaff is witty and informative. the video game gives kids of every age something to do if they get bored with their dining companions or just want to prove they’ve still got it. 😂 i am currently looking to relocate to fayetteville just so that i can frequent this establishment more often.

wow - ozarks hidden cheesy secret - im a big fan of grilled cheese and boutique brew and this place has both. very eclectic crowd and feel. after walking around the district this little gem fits right in and excels.greatservice from people having fun. food is top notch & gourmet for what it is. never will you find such art put into a sandwich! everything is top notch and don’t worry about stopping at the bank! ever a college kid can afford to enjoy this on a regular basis. looking around this is no secret to the locals. about whenever you drive by this place is busy. will definitely come back!

everything here is very tasty and good. but there's one sandwich i always get because it has the best flavor of them all. its the pig sooie sandwich. pulled pork and jalapenos on it along with cheese of course. get a side of bbq sauce to go with it. it's incredible!! their salads are very fresh and good. good soups. haven't tried the hot dogs yet. very good food here!greatservice too.

consistent every time, my boys love it. greatcheese sandwiches, funky vibe.  what's not to like?  sweet potato fried aregreatand the chewbacca is the best cheese sandwich i've ever eaten.

fun place & unique offerings. hammontree's is a fun place with a slight alternative feel. it goes well with the jacked up grilled cheese offerings. on nice days you can sit on the outdoor patio. the servers are polite but not overly helpful. it reminds me a little of dinner style service, "yeah, whatta you'll have?" the food offering is fun and worth multiple visits to work through the various styles of grilled cheese. parmageddon is a family favorite with parmigiano-reggiano, prosciutto ham, sauteed mushrooms on parmesan crusted bread. i like the ragin' cajun with grilled andouille sausage, pablano peppers, three-alarm colby jack, house cheese and sauce piquant on jalapeno corn bread. all of the grilled cheese are creative, tastegreatand cost about $7. huge thumbs up to this place. my only knock is the restaurant is closed on sunday. as a uark parent, saturday is the only day to make a visit. it's always crazy.

gluten free. do not go here if you have celiac. they toast all sandwiches on the same flattop. they take no precautions against cross contamination. it's agreatrestaurant, but not if you are gluten sensitive or have celiac.

yummy!. supe totally good food. funky and neat with agreatenviorment and staff. the only negative thing that i can say is that they need french fries!!!

cheesy.. i didn't know gourmet grilled cheese existed until visiting hammontrees. now i do. neat. every time i go i like to try one of the various sandwiches and have mostly been satisfied. it may just be my taste, but the majority of the meat-less grilled cheese sandwiches seem to lack any flavors that really jump out at you and often end up bland tasting. the sandwiches with meat are allgreatespecially in addition to the ever amazing sweet potato fries with their avocado ranch. i highly reccommend the ragin' cajun, monte cristo, or east of edam - the sweet potato fries are a given.

definitely a consistently good joint to visit on dickson.
