went for dim sum. enjoyed the dark-wood screens and decor that create pockets of privacy for diners. the wait staff was typical for the beach, stylish yet mostly absent. absolutely adored the dim sum, which is the best i've had outside of the san fransisco bay area. the deserts were amazing as well, as were the drinks. i really enjoyed the meal, but the experience as a whole left me a bit wanting. like it, don't love it.

one of the greatest restaurant i have ever been... they located in fountainblue hotel so it is perfect for hot dates 😊
i tried pan fried vegetables dumplings 🥟, dim sum, wild mushroom soup, pepper steak, chocolate volcano ... and of course with chardonay... their wine selection is ok.. food and service is great... yes it is pricey for great experience... i definitely recommend this place 👍🏻

we have arrived in miami and after a long flight and a few drinks by the beach, it was time for dinner. for dinner, our choice was hakkasan. to be honest, i've been to hakkasun in the uk, but it was nothing like what i experienced in miami, the food is full of flavour, i just cannot explain the taste. the whole ambience of the restaurant is absolutely beautiful and has a floral scent as soon as you walk in. for starters, we had crispy prawn with mango, which left a fruity juicy taste in my mouth, with a crispy finish.these prawns were more savoury and a had a satay finish, i was not really a fan of these because i prefer more sweet or sour taste.

and my favourite dish of the night had to be the dim sum platter- 8 little pockets of flavour;

2x scallop shumai
2x har gar
2x black crystal rice vegetables
2x crab meat.

equally, all the dim sum pieces were nice but my favourite had to be the dim sum topped with caviar style beads.

for my main, it was between the bahamian lobster or the black pepper tenderloin but eventually gave in and went for the beef, choosing egg fried rice to accompany the beef. i had my beef cooked medium to rare as i like my meat a bit tender and juicy, the beef was very spicy but that is just how i like it! everything was washed down with several glasses of house red wine, which really hit the spot!

one thing i always appreciate bout americans is the customer service and we really gave the best of the best in terms of customer service and would definitely recommend going to hakkasan for dinner. the lightening is dimmed and is a perfect place to go for a date.

year of the ram is off to a fabulous start for 2015!  chinese new year with 60 lucky people at hakkasan, fontainebleau miami beach was such a treat! i organized it as part of my hoh wok club gatherings, to celebrate asian culture and cuisine with like minded people. if you’ve never had an authentic yum cha chinese style, you have to experience it.  and the best way to do that is at a chic, modern and beautiful restaurant like hakkasan.  you get the royal treatment and you leave all the work to the chefs who painstakingly make all the intricate and magnificent dumplings and miniature sculptures!

it was definitely one of the coolest foodie experiences i have ever taken part in and these chefs were amazing-- whipping out dozens of perfectly formed dim sum in minutes while the rest of us struggled to make one or two. the chefs then steamed it all up and the dim sum was served as a part of a huge chinese feast that we enjoyed for lunch.

another hakka please!. i never understood why it was so difficult to get a table at hakkasan, that is until i experienced the restaurant myself. immediately you sense a vibrant and energetic vibe, trendy, upscale, lively and stylish are the words that first come to mind as you enter. we were greeted and seated by a beautiful hostess with a bright smile.
dark wood furnishings and intricate paneling adorn the dark dining area were booths and tables are available. a great bar area to the side was full of very attractive patrons that looked like they were having the time of they’re lives.
our server, suggested for us to start with one of the signature drinks, the hakka( grey goose vodka, ty-ku sake, coconut, lychee juice and passion fruit) absolutely delicious, but be careful, it sneaks up on you!
we were so excited to finally visit the restaurant that we decided to let the chef choose for us, here are some of the dishes he so kindly shared with us:
-dim sum platter
-crispy duck salad (the best salad i’ve ever had)
-crab and sweet corn soup
-pan-fried eggplant with dried shrimp and soy sauce (this dish was a complete surprise and my favorite of the evening)
-black pepper beef tenderloin
-wok fried yellow tail red snapper in king soya
-warm chocolate fondant for dessert
the service, the ambiance and the food exceeded my expectations that evening. if you think it’s a bit pricey, you might want to consider the dim sum prix fixe menu for $28 per guest or the yum cha prix fixe menu for $45 per guest.
i loved this restaurant so much that i returned for the dim sum brunch. don’t miss out on the hakkasan experience, you’ll love it!

love, love, love. there isn't anything negative to say about hakkasan. the food and service are outstanding. my favorites are the duck and the hot and sour soup.

the only negative about coming here is the parking valet - i have never left without some kind of damage to my vehicle!

we came for dim sum and it was very good. there were 4 of us and they offer an option for a prefix menu with an assortment of steamed, fried, main dish, and noodle dish to share for 2. we ordered that plus a few additional items. the fried beef puffs were amazing, fro gras dumpling was ok, duck rolls are a must, barbaque platter was very good, char sui pork is very good but small portion, duck pi pa is tasty similar to peking with out the pancakes. this is not your traditional dimsum per say. they are higher priced smaller portions but still very tasty. each item seems to have extra care and time out in rather than ordinary dimsum items. the atmosphere is also very appealing. we will definitely be back looking forward to trying dinner.

i must admit it. i love hakassan. so when there’s a deal as well — as in miami spice — it’s time for yet another visit ($39 per person plus tax and service). as you know from reading prior posts on miami spice, some leading restaurants “just do” the promotion, not showcasing their best — like a top steakhouse that just has a cheap cut of meat on the spice menu, or a leading italian restaurant offering a pedestrian pasta and chicken dish as the entrees. not so with hakkasan. theirs is a five course menu with 9 different dishes that reflect the exciting spicy, savory and sweet flavors and varied textures that is their stock in trade. but wait, let’s first talk about the decor for those of you who haven’t been there. the decor is described as “haute chinois”  with  seating areas of  romantic, welcome small spaces. and now for the food. after an appetizer of a green salad with pickled onion in plum dressing that i could eat every day, came the “small eats” — hon

good food, even better drinks, but pricey. went with friends to hakkasan during miami spice. on a friday night we could only get a reservation at 7:00. it did become more crowded as the evening went on. interior is nice but if they would have cut the incense, i would have enjoyed it more. despite an initial aromatic turnoff, i did like the styling of the place. started with a round of drinks- the zesty martini, green destiny, strawberry basil martini- all were very tasty and fresh. for dinner, we decided to add to the miami spice menu options (as we were told it was a tasting menu only) and added two appetizers- the wild mushroom lettuce wraps and the dim sum platter. both appetizers were very flavorful and good. we liked it all but the standouts from the miami spice dinner menu were: the honey grilled barbecue pork, the spicy and crispy shrimp dumpling, and the crispy chicken with osmanthus lemon sauce. my favorite of the night however was the dessert- the white chocolate panna cotta with the raspberry sorbet. it was one of the best desserts i have tried in a long time. i sampled the mango dessert but in my opinion the panna cotta is the way to go. i did enjoy the manner in which the food is served- slowly and one or two dishes at a time so each dish can be enjoyed without feeling rushed on to the next course. the one negative was being charged $3 more for a drink than listed on the menu. $3 is not a huge deal but it is still $3- and given drink prices here are high enough as it is...overall the food here is good, and cocktails and desserts were really good. i feel the pricing is a little high (a $7 macchiato??? -but again- everything in miami beach costs more than it should). it is worth trying.

meals like this are rare, where every dish is a winner and no complaints. i may sound like a brown noser (it’s only hoisin don’t worry) but sometimes restaurants just get it right. the miami branch of hakkasan may not have a michelin star of its own, but that doesn’t take away from the amazing cuisine they’re producing nightly. i’m looking forward to returning soon to sample their dim sum service that they offer at lunchtime on the weekends. lord knows miami is in dire need of it. until next time!

beautiful. atmosphere & food are top notch, exactly what you would expect for a place as fancy as the fountainbleu. my favorite dish was the crispy duck salad, just for the uniqueness, but you can't go wrong with the seafood either.
