dim sum, lamb and red snapper were superb. the fried rice was not the best but still good. after reading the other reviews, i would suggest an early reservation when possible b/c we didn't wait for anything. it was expensive but so is anywhere worth eating in sobe. i loved it and will be back.

yes, will be back. great intimate atmosphere and excellent service! ate for miami spice august 2012 menu and was not disappointed. must be expecting a large bill because you're at the fountainebleau. validated parking is still $12.
my dinner party is still raving about the sea bass entree featured on miami spice menu; it was buttery tender and perfectly, lightly battered = amazing. both desserts were to die for. well poured beverages from the bar.

the dumplings were the highlight for sure. incredibly moist, and with abundant flavor and texture, we held that as the standard. alas the fish dish was not up to par. am not a fan of bland steamed fish with sauce poured over it. the eggplant didn't have too much oomph and the fried rice was forgettable.

delicious food in a hip andluxurious setting, hakkasan didn't disappoint. while it is pricey, you have to expect it, after all you're in the beautiful fontainebleau. our overall bill was $275 which isn't bad considering we had 2 appetizers, 4
entrees, a bottle of wine and 18% gratuity was already included. when we made the reservation we mentioned it was my birthday and an the end of our meal they gave us a delicious dessert with happy brithday written on the plate for free. overall a
great experience and we will go back.

hakkasan in miami. superb place, excellent service, high price, and bad food.

hakkasan is gorgeous, but the food is greatly disappointed!

i heard of that an article about hakkasan was published in a local chinese newspaper, and this article recommended peking duck. according to the united chinese news of florida, peking duck is one of hot sellers in hakkasan with over 1,000 orders in one month. how could i miss this good opportunity to taste the chinese famous cuisine. we ordered peking duck($198), duck salad($25), lamb($48), and singapore vermicelli($18). the food are egregiously overpriced! however, the food disappointed us. singapore vermicelli was burnt. lamb was raw. duck salad did not come with enough sauce. peking duck was the worst! it was totally different from the authentic peking duck in beijing. they were not worth paying such high prices. i can get the better peking duck elsewhere for much less. and our waitress told us they sold seven to eight orders of peking duck each day. omg! the article was so exaggerated!! over 1,000 order a month? a fisherman's tale!

next we tried the signature charcoal grilled silver cod with champagne and chinese honey. we weren't prepared for the incredible decadence of this dish! the symphony of flavors was spectacular, enticing the palate with the sweetness of the honey and the silky juiciness of the fish. i highly recommend this entree if you want to try a dish that will leave you breathless!

a heavenly chef has landed on the shores of miami beach from the realm of michelin stars and the bright lights of fashion, film, and music. hakkasan miami, located in the chic fontainebleau hotel, is indeed a celestial experience. executive chef ooi soon lok serves opulent cantonese cuisine against a sensual backdrop of chinoiserie design. the teak walls have been artistically carved to allow glimpses of the monied clientele perched at the cobalt blue bar. as you walk into this glamourous oriental labyrinth, each turn reveals a new cove of seduction. we slink into our comfortable turquoise booth, and the lamp dangling over our table uses light and shadow to create a discreet enclave from our neighbors. we ordered their signature cocktail, 'the hakka' to invigorate our impatient palates-an intriguing blend of vodka, kubota sake, lychee juice, lime, coconut and fresh passion fruit. in due time, the dim sum platter ($26) appeared in a basket of glorious little pillows with silken skin and

in due time, the dim sum platter ($26) appeared in a basket of glorious little pillows with silken skin and juicy interiors packing bold and exotic flavours. each tiny piece of sesame prawn, scallop and wild mushroom was readable to the taste buds rather than folded into an indiscriminate whole.

terrible. i've made the reservation for 10.15 pm, the table was ready only at 11..45 pm. my wife is pregnant, we had to wait without seating, total disrispect with clients. the table was almost into the kitchen, and the food terrible, greasy, very bad...will not go back to this place.

still jonesing for the xiao long bao (dumplings with soup inside). while the food is not as exciting as tropical, the ambiance can't be beat. teal cushions, waterfall gobos, heavy lacquer ornate wood dividers. my only complaint is that the staff have not been trained on the menu.

walk into hakkasan at the fontainebleau, miami beach and instantly feel enveloped in a mysterious asian environment. as you enter the restaurant you’ll be led through a number of peek-a-boo carved wood paneled-room separators, which gracefully divide the

typical steakhouse. the food and service were excellent although i felt the prices were a bit high. the menu is standard higher-end steakhouse, there weren't any real surprises or any twists which would make the restaurant a "don't miss" type of place.

date night type of place. i went to hakkasan while staying at the fountainbleau with a couple of co-workers for a conference. when we walked into hakkasan we felt very out of place, everwhere we looked were couples but we decided to stay and i'm glad that we did.

the service was excellent although our server wasn't too keen on making recommendations. she also neglected to mention that the food was family style until two of us ordered the same thing.

to sum it up the food was great, the atmosphere was good, the service was good and the prices were a bit on the high side but i suppose a good value.
