best ramen, very authentic.

seating is on two long benches - although it is crowded, it adds to the authenticramenbar style.

theramentastes much more traditional than other restaurants i have tried.

we don't mind what people say, we love hakataya ramen. i think the price is actually quite great for what you get, and most importantly, the soup base for theramenis deeeeliiiicious. obviously some may argue it is not "as authentic" as otherramencompetitors... but for me personally, i am a fan!

been here to dine in for several times before, but due to covid-19, i had to do takeaways. the staff kindly packed the noodles and the soup in separate containers. the staff processed my orders quickly and in safe manners.

ordered the chashu men (menu number 2). the tasty broth was always slightly salty to my preferences but matches well with the plain, bland noodle. the meat given was also perfectly seasoned, thinly sliced, tender and easy to chew.

would love to get another bowl of theramenin the future.

ramen anyone?. with only 6 things on the menu, it does all 6 things wonderfully. but be quick as theramenand soup are made fresh daily and once its run out, its run out and the store closes. theramenis delicious and if you still have soup in your bowl and noramenleft, they give you another serve oframenat no extra cost. how wonderful is that?

not a fan!. definately do not rate hakataya for ramen. its amazing to see how popular this noodle shop is being so sub par to otherramenplaces. we ordered the spicyramenand get literally 3 slices of pork and a little handful of noodle. yes, i understand you can order more noodle free, but that doesnt counteract the overly oily broth and the disappointing combination of flavours. im not going to compare thisramenshop to others in sydney and melbourne, because theyre on a totally different level. but i much prefer ajisenramenin brisbane cbd over this noodle shop anyday!

for those who don't know realramenis. i really don't know why people like this place. theirramendoesn't even have anything other soup, noodle and a piece of thin meat. i guess they don't know what the realramenis like. i heard that there will be anotherramenplace in sunny park which just across the road from sunnybank plaza and sunnybank square. i'm hoping that the new one will be better than hakataya.

rather popular in brisbane, perhaps my expectations were a bit high. theramenwas okay, decent broth, good noodles. for the price, you'd expect half an egg and better presentation. there's nothing wrong with this place, it's just not for me.

phuong tran and i decide on aramenlunch just before the lunchtime rush. we order a karaka men and miso spicy men. our steaming bowls are served in 15 minutes. theramenis al dente and the broths are delicious. thank you guys!

due to the new measures from government, it is enforced to have take away only from all eateries so i have no choice but revisit this raman dan for a quick lunch.
ordered the nagahamaramenand it only took couple of ministries to have the whole bag of noodles and soup to take away.
back to my office and put theramenon my table. well, noodles started to stick together and took a while to soften it by the soup. texture is no good at all. soup base is rich but i have not had such thin cha siu for a long time that nearly melted in my mouth without any effort of chewing them.
overall, i can say that it is a satisfied lunch but what can i expect on take-away food? right?

bestramenin brisbane. i eatramenat least once a weak and hakataya my favourite place to go. i always leave full, and sides are just best. and free noodle? amazing!

haven’t been to hakataya for ages, since i’m getting a freeramentoday i might as well go have a free lunch. the broth tasted different from before, taste a bit watered down, and i had to ask for takana, i thought you notify them you don’t want takana, instead of the other way around. and the most disappointing dish was the gyoza, it’s either burnt on one side and the other side is not cooked, and it looked like they just pile them randomly on a plate, instead of plate them nicely. i probably can fry better gyoza at home...

today we went to try someramenas we were in sunnybank again 3rd time this week. it was only half full bit decided to sit outside. simple menu so ordered the no.1 and 2 as wife only wanted a small bowl and extra noodles for me.

there were only 2 people on, well we could only see 1. service was very slow. i went to get a drink for the little one and food hadnt come out when i returned. maybe 10 minutes.

once the food did come out, there was plenty of meat and i shared half of mine with the little one and waited for extra noodles. the broth for some reason tasted very salty. after waiting and waiting decided to finish the rest of my meal. maybe it was a language barrier.

i loveramenand this place is truly amazing. at other restaurants theramenlooks amazing but doesn't taste that great, but this place has everything right - visual appeal, amazing flavours that keep changing as you eat, great price and authentic - you know it's good coz it's the only place there that's fully packed, but def worth the wait. this is my new go to spot from now on! we tried no2 and no4.

below average ramen. but it does get very busy. that's brisbane diners for you. clueless about food. in japan this place would be considered an insult toramenchefs. should change the recipe of their broth and make it more authentic.

my partner and i just got back from japan and have had seriousramenwithdraws😊 we found this place in sunnybank and it didn't disappoint👌🏽 the food was so tasty and out to us fast, plus they offer extra noodles for free.👏🏾(we didn't get photos because we where to keen to try it)😊
