amazing! the meat flakes in our mouth. always a very long line outside-but worth every minute of waiting! the noodles are hand made and are the best i've tried so far. highly recommend char siu-men (flaky porknoodlesoup with extra pork).

not a fan!. definately do not rate hakataya for ramen. its amazing to see how popular thisnoodleshop is being so sub par to other ramen places. we ordered the spicy ramen and get literally 3 slices of pork and a little handful of noodle. yes, i understand you can order morenoodlefree, but that doesnt counteract the overly oily broth and the disappointing combination of flavours. im not going to compare this ramen shop to others in sydney and melbourne, because theyre on a totally different level. but i much prefer ajisen ramen in brisbane cbd over thisnoodleshop anyday!

for those who don't know real ramen is. i really don't know why people like this place. their ramen doesn't even have anything other soup,noodleand a piece of thin meat. i guess they don't know what the real ramen is like. i heard that there will be another ramen place in sunny park which just across the road from sunnybank plaza and sunnybank square. i'm hoping that the new one will be better than hakataya.

free noodles on your birthday. what is there not to love about that! come here, then go get your free boost afterwards to wash it down. in recent years they have been writing down your license details to prevent exploitation i guess.

when dining here any other day, it’s pretty good. like the freenoodlerefill you can get, and service is pretty quick. however due to the fast turn around, often many of the seats need to be cleared which is a bit delayed, or the limited seating is full. they definitely could use more seating room compared to the emptier restaurants to either side

i have ordered a spicy miso noodle, a no.1noodleand a gyoza. just one staff at the counter and its not bussy, but my friend and me wait for a long time to order, the staff still working slowly with poker face.

was my to-do list, after seeing how popular this place is. very authentic feel to this place. won me over with their spicy condiments and complimentary extranoodleto add to the bowl.

food quality: very good
price: average but you can get extranoodlefor free
service: i believes it always good whenever i went there. friendly staff and feel welcome
facility: look good after they refurbishment their store.

perfect. delicious ramen always. pork succulent. awesome freenoodlerefills. fast and friendly service with a smile. also good for sitting and eating alone.. i found out as i came in for my free birthday ramen before work (lol, yep. nothing to be ashamed of).
quality every time, reliable, affordable and never disappointed.

nice hot spicynoodlesoup bowls. can really hit the spot on a cool winter evening. the broths have some flavour, wouldn't say it was outstanding. there could be more meat too.

reliable and cheap! always come here. always delicious and hits the spot. 

the first time i tried this place was one of the best experiences of my life. i always remember many years ago eating ramen in tokyo taken by our tour guide off the track in his spare time. the place was just in a tent. that was the best ramen i had ever tried. i've never been able to find the same taste since, until i ate this.
i now know that i had hakata style ramen and basically no-one was doing it in australia (most of them seem to be doing it now!). hakataya was the first place to have it and do it really well. even though there's only 4 types of ramen, they do it so well!!

the musubi is ok, i mean no-one else does it so it's nice they have it here.

love the free birthday ramen :) just wish it was more pram friendly.
remember to ask for freenoodlerefill to make the most of the beautiful broth!

terrible experience at warrigal shop. i like hakataya ramen very much, however i got very terrible experience at warrigal shop last night.

we ordered nagahama and miso spicy men around 18:10 27/2/2015.
when staff serviced us, soup were not hot , actually it was warm, and very oily and sticky.

i saw the customer around us no one finish theirnoodleand left lots to then left. the other hakataya ramen in brisbane were not like that. i am very disappoint the ramen i tasted last night in warrigal shop.

ramen is consistent through all their branches and good customer service as always. my friends love this place and treats it like their personal "zone-off"noodlestation. i rate it 6/10

delicious ramen and value for money. ramennoodlehere is really tangy. love their soup, very tasty and consistent. love that they provide 1 bowl of free kaedama too.

delicious ramen!! the broth is perfect - so light and tasty and the meat was incredibly tender. it's a simple littlenoodlebar so expect no frills service as you may have to wait in line a little to order as they are constantly moving and cooking but it's absolutely worth it. can't wait to go back.
