honestly i’m not really into turkish sweets, buthafizmustafa is the only place i visit in istanbul when i crave cheesy kunefe! it’s like basma in lebanon and i really appreciate how crunchy it is? their trilece cake topped with framboise is also a must try! i always visit their taksim and usküdar branches.

they are spread all over the city but their prominent store/ café on taksim square packs in hundreds of passionate clientele biting down on those delectable lokums (a soft chewy sweet available in multiple flavors, honey and pistachio being the best), various kinds of ultra-sweet baklavas and their multiple mousses and creams. this is a place where one can’t have enough sugar, their baklavas are crunchy outside and chewy on the inside filled with nuts, packed with flavors.
their mousses come in large bowls varying from chocolate to fruit, orange, caramel and nuts, you tell yourself to stop after a couple of spoonfuls out of sheer guilt but by the time you realize, you are down with at least 3-4 bowls of these seductive creams between just two people. the overriding guilt then makes you gulp down cups of hot teas and believe me my friend; this story repeats itself every evening while you are there.hafizmustafa is highly addictive, enter with extreme caution.

hafiz mustafa would be my favorite desserts place in turkey!
it serves by far the best sweets with the richest and greatest taste.

there are several branches ofhafizmustafa all over istanbul so it’s convenient to find one near.

the knefeh and puddings at this place taste amazing! we ordered the rice, chocolate and pistachio puddings which are heavenly great.

the staff are friendly and professional, the service is fast too.

price value is great for the high quality dessert you’re eating. you can easily give this place 5 stars.

you can’t pass by taksim without trying the baklava and kunafi ofhafizmustafa. very tasty and fresh ( taza). the only weakness i noticed in the place is the extremely overcrowded point of sale ofhafizhalkoum products, the staff selling there were not friendly at all.

theee best sweet shop in istanbul and i m not surprised by the high ratings here on zomato. we tried the baklavas, puddings and their turkish tea. we also later packed 500gms of their assorted baklavas.
i must add what made my experience special was not just the sweets but the impeccable service. they were so much fun when they saw that we were with my 1 year old kid. the waitress infact took our child and entertained her and also gave her a candy free of cost. other staff members too were playing and giggling with my child. she had so much fun that day and we were truly touched by the way they looked after our daughter. this r the kind of experiences one likes to have as a tourist and am gladhafizmustafa more than lived upto our expectations. this place just cant be missed when you are in istanbul!!!

taste-10/10
ambience-10/10
service-7.5/10
value for money-9.5/10

hafiz mustafa is located right at the centre of taksim square.it’s bang opposite the famous istiklal street.hafizmustafa has seating inside as well as a few tables outside. the ambience is modern and has an airy feel. they serve food, tea, coffee, deserts and have a sweet section all in one place.i purchased their baklava which was very fresh & the hazelnut halwa which was soft and had lot of pieces of hazelnuts on it. they have over 50 different types of halwa, turkish delights & baklava’s. the service was a bit slow as there were lot of people who were purchasing sweets at the same time (as shown in the pictures).hafizmustafa pricing for their sweets are on a higher side when compared to its rivals in istanbul, turkey. buthafizmustafa will guarantee you the best quality sweets when compared to any other shop in istanbul. hands down
if you ever want to buy sweets like baklava, halwas or turkish delight from istanbul, look no further than purchasing it from any ofhafizmustafa’s 3 stores in istanbul.
specially recommendhafizmustafa to international tourists looking to take some boxes of sweets back home.
highly recommend

you can’t visit istanbul, and not to pass byhafizmustafa, for an exquisite, delicious, mouthwatering desserts.
they have a huge variety of turkish delights, baklava, and even occidental desserts, and they are all extremely tasty; their knefeh is surely a must try.
couldn’t find a more friendly staff in istanbul, you get full with samples and tasting (even if you won’t buy) but the taste will obligate you to buy.
briefly, if i could, i would bring back with from every single product in their shop ♥️♥️
