tried the salted egg pasta and smegg pizza in this branch. it was heavenly!

already tried a couple of pizzas here and it always hits the spot! the spicy honey sauce is very unique yet always complements their yummy pizzas!

love the mushroom pizza but the bacon and gouda was too much. it was on the sweet side and the bacon was like canadian bacon. not really a fan

food tastes really great! however, some staffs are not so accommodating. they’re like choosy in serving customers. if you look rich, you are a priority. more space is needed especially during peak hours.

ate dinner 2 nights ago with my blockmates here at gino's. i've already ate at their katip branch when i was still studying in ateneo. my experience is quite good, because for an italian restaurant serving up fresh italian made pasta and pizza, the price point is reasonable. we all tried different pasta dishes. (despite them looking a bit similar) for me, the best pasta is the salted egg pasta hands down. we tried a vegetarian pizza that night because one of my friends is sacrificing meat for lent. however, the best pizza is definitely the smegg with lots and lots of spicy honey.

did not like the salted egg pasta. it was good at first bite, did not get around to finishing it - nakakaumay.

the smegg was okay - did not blow my socks off like i was expecting it to.

my expectations was fairly high due to the reviews. did not live up to my expectations.

the eatventurers went to gino’s brick oven pizza for a dinner/merienda and we were so satisfied.

we just ordered two pizza, honey gouda and margherita but we were already full. two pizza can be shared by three-four people.

we absolutely loved the honey gouda because it had bacon strips and gino’s spicy honey or their homemade chili-infused with honey. really something new to our palate.

can we also mention that pizza prices are nothing beyond 500? what a steal.

one of the best pizza places in the metro. the uniqueness of their pizza is due to the addition of kesong puti which makes them delectable. the bitterness of the burned crust complements the flavor of the pizza. pro tip: use their spicy honey condiment!

unfortunately, their pasta dishes are just normal. aglio olio is too garlicky, and their carbonara is just so-so. from what i remember, the only pasta that i liked is their salted egg pasta.

edit: i love their iced tea!

i am hearing greater feedbacks than my experience, perhaps may palate is not as refined, but eating in gino's did not really send chills to my spine. rather is was a fine experience.

it was pizza, they have very limited flavors as well, the beer they served was not cold. i would say it was an average dinner. and it was a bit too expensive.

it was worth trying once, and probably a good hang out if theres no where else to eat, but its not a place i am craving to go back to now and again.

ordered and shared the bacon gouda w/ my officemates. we also ordered the carbonara and salted egg pasta. the salted egg pasta really surprised me as i dislike salted egg-ed things (lmao yes i haaaate them) but this might be an exception. the sauce was creamy and is to my liking. good thing we split the dishes since they are really heavy in the tummy. will go back to try the other pizzas they have.

no idea why the rating is so high for this place. we tried two pizzas. both of them were just about ok. the pizza sauce was nothing but flavorless tomato purée. overall just a ok place. please don’t get fooled by the zomato rating.

chicken bbq had only few amount of shredded chicken overall pizza was just average..
salted egg pasta was also average

this is one of the few italian restaurants that i have been to that do not disappoint. the value for money is right on the mark. the portions are perfect, pizzas and pastas are great. drink selection is awesome as well. my boyfriend and i come here to treat ourselves (as much as we would want to eat here everyday, we can’t because of all the carbs 😅).
we love this place.

the place was intimate, clean and the service was good. i like how professional yet courteous the staff were to us.

i ordered the tomato basil, spaghetti with tomato sauce, basil, garlic, parmesan and parmigiano reggiano, while my hubby had a four cheese pizza with extra sausages added into it. it was all superb!

who say's pizza cant be too sweet? not really a pizzaholic but this pizza makes me say oohhlalala!
try some of their best ever seller and its totally loved!

food was good. service was great. menu was constricting though, they only serve some drinks in pitchers which really makes it awkward to order if there are only two of you, but overall it was a good dining experience.
