gino’s is one of our favorite restaurant in bgc!

pizza

s.m.egg is a must try - with honey and tabasco please!

bacon gouda is so-so unless you love bacon 😂 this is literally bacon with some cheese.

pasta

salted egg is a must try, too. 1 serving can be good for 2 persons medyo nakaka umay pag buo na 🙂

arrabbiata is surprisingly instant favorite! my mom, who’s not a pasta lover, kept eating and saying how good it tasted. perfect taste! with spiciness.

pesto serving here has less cheese. consume while hot!

overall experience is again a 5 star. worth every cent! 😊 attentive and accommodating staffs.

the place was okay, service as well. it wasn’t peak hour when i ate there and the staff readily refills my water. i was craving for pizza but i was alone that time and i don’t think they serve slices so i went for the pasta instead. i ordered the salted egg pasta and without reading that it was cream based haha big mistake coz i wasn’t into that. it was okay, i guess but it wasn’t not the taste i was expecting. the salted egg flavor was fairly light.

i have been wanting to try this for so long. i ordered rosa bianca with extra mushrooms. it was delicious! i love how they used kesong puti instead of mozzarella. it was not too cheesy and i loved it. it quickly became one of my favorite pizza places. staff was friendly, service was fast. will definitely be back to try other flavors

a few weeks back, my college friends and i pushed to meet for dinner on a week night since our schedules are all packed with meet ups and travels in the next weeks to come. and since most of them are working in ortigas, l and i had to brave the traffic going north. and we survived to have dinner at…

gino’s brick oven pizza.

it has been quite a while since i last visited gino’s brick oven pizza. i think it was over 3 years and it was with my favorite takaw trio (t3) friends. anyway, this time around, we tried mushroom pizza (php375), prosciutto pizza (php445), carbonara (php220), pesto pasta (php225), nutella soup (php195) and crack pie (php55, slice).

to be perfectly honest, i enjoyed the crust more than the actual topping. we tried the pesto walnut pizza and the four cheese but they were both too bitter which did not harmonize at all to the already bitter charred crust. the candied walnuts were a big miss for me. it made the pizza lack a savory note since it was just walnuts, olive oil and basil.

ordered prosciutto pizza, and tomato basil, butter parmigiano and salted egg for pasta, plus fresh calamansi juice.
staff were very attentive and pleasant. food was good but not great; price is not bad for a casual dining restaurant.

my friends told me this was the best pizza in manila and i was a little sceptical however after my first visit i have to agree!

really tasty pizza, great quality cheeses and awesome soft fluffy crust in the traditional italian style. don’t expect pizza hut or shakeys here...this is the real deal.

standouts included buffalo chicken and bianca verde, along with the addictive spicy honey condiment!

will return.

i love it here! the spicy honey is a gem! the place is almost always full though so you just need a bit of patience to dine in.

their spicy honey is so perfect with their pizzas. it helps take out the “umay” factor with too much carbs.

sophie says gino's just stole her heart.

there is something for everyone! and i am a meat-eater - so bacon already does wonders for me.... but prosciutto??? 😍😍

let's start off by saying that nothing is ever original and i found that out the hard way when i visited vietnam and saw almost the same food and pizza in 4ps.

but hey, that's another story. ginos - two items, buratta & spicy honey. you can't get them elsewhere in the philippines - exag?

every ginos pizza comes with crunchy and tasty crust that just holds all the delicious toppings together. the minimalism of the toppings is complemented by the ever so tasty spicy honey! pizza on honey? are you crazy? crazy delicious! i love their prosciutto pizza - because, hello, foreign bacon! apart from that, they also have other pizzas like the every present margherita and an all meat pizza and smeg - (sausage, mushroom, egg, gouda) - tried them but my hesrt belongs to the prosciutto pizza paws down!

they also serve your vegetable gorging friends with a wide array of salads, i especially love the house salad with buratta. yep! house salad + creamy cheese. it's perfect, the salad comes with the regular greens plus the sweet and tangy balsamic mixture and the contrasting sweetness of the candied nuts and fruits. i love pairing this with the dalandan juice - summer in a bottle.

the buratta is huge, so i always end up dipping the pizza ends in the buratta and drizzle some more spicy honey.

the price range is a bit hefty for regular customers - but hey, you pay for delicious food and once a month at gino's is more than enough.

best pizza in the philippines ever!

aw shucks, i'm asking my hooman for gino's tomorrow!

after giving my friend a tour at mckinley, we decided to dine at serendra and chose this place as we were both craving for pizza.

we ordered smegg as recommended by the staff and salted egg pasta. smegg tasted really good however it was too oily. salted egg pasta was simply delicious.

customer service needs improvement.
