ambience also very good, giving local feeling with bamboo chairs and tables

the ambience is very good, the whole interior, including the furniture is done in bamboo, looks beautiful, served in brass utensils, gives a very assamese vibe right when you enter till you go through the menu. the menu includes many authentic dishes. but i wonder why the quality of food is so bad. i have tried the ganeshguri branch also, but didn't like the food. i ordered pigeon pepper curry, chitol fish cooked in mustard, thali and felt they had heated some old food cooked in a hurry. i really didn't like anything here.

greater ambience, cool atmosphere, delicious food, excellent service, reasonable pricing. what more one want?

its a very very good family restaurant. ethnic assamese cuisine and ethnic assam type architecture giving it a magnificent look!
booking is easy for any parties, etc.

ordered assamese veg thaali and pigeon meat fry....the thaali was average, nothing worth mentioning, except the khaar which was tasty....the pigeon meat fry was gud but not exceptionally gud....the best thing bout d restaurant s its ambience....its a nyc place to sit n chat n d staff are cordial ....

this place is my all time favourite in guwahati, as well in bangalore, they serve authentic assamese food , thali is a must try which i recently tried in guwahati with chicken curry and pigeon curry and both of them were as expected... visiting this place will always give you satisfaction.

loved the food. truly represents authentic assamese food. feels like a meal at home.
even the environment is traditional like they serve in bell metal plates and the seats are of bamboo.

the food was really not worth the price. it was served cold. and the attitude of the waiters were not good

the receptionist that is the old fellow... didinot accept payment by zomato.... as it would reduce cost by 25 percent because if pro membership. hence had to pay whole amount.... i would request everyone don't visit this place

the veg thali was really good but the sesame pork was not that upto the mark ...nice ethnic decor, well ambience...looking forward to have a better experience then before..

it is a well maintained restaurant that gives an extra flavour of northeast india. they have proper parking plot for cars too. the restaurant is surrounded by a well maintained bamboo trees in all directions. there is a small playground for kids as well. once we stepped into the restaurant, it gives a nice aroma of bamboo shoots. later realised that it was from bamboo shoots pickles.
we ordered assamese fish meal and assamese pork meal.
assamese fish meal had 9 items in which three items are fish items. one fish curry, small fish deep fried and a mashed small fish.
assamese pork meal had 7 items. one pork curry cooked with gongura /sorrel leaves. another pork item was deep fried.
all over the food was delicious and well presented in the most authentic way. we went for the authentic meal and we got it. thank you for that.

loved this place, although it was hectic in the afternoon hours but it is normal since it is situated near a national highway. food was good, recommendable 👌👍 i ordered naan, paneer butter masala,lemon chicken and veg fried rice and it was all savoury! this place has accommodation for a hugenumber of customers and maybe just because of the large area that it covers the ac's doesn't cool some places which is why some customers may have a lil tough time.

ordered tandoori roti and chicken butter masala.i didnt reallt liked the taste of the chicken and also the gravy but surely would try other dishes.

waited for half an hr today. but not a single waiter to be at service. when arrived asked the reason for delayed and he was like dumb. not even saying sorry. go there if you got two much leisure time to wait for food to serve

একটু দরকারি কাজে গৌহাটি আসার প্রয়োজন হয়েছিল, আসার আগেই জেনে নিয়েছিলাম ওখানে কোথায় অসমীয়া খাবার খাবো, কিন্তু সব কটাই হোটেল থেকে বহু দূরে।

gams delicacy -এর অন্য একটা দোকান একদম হোটেলের দুটো বাড়ি পরেই। কিন্তু সৌভাগ্য থাকলে আমায় আর ঠেকায় কে? কাজ থাকায় ঘুরতে পারলাম না তাই খেয়েই দেখি কি হয়?

পর্ক খাই, তবে সেটা বেশি ভাগ ক্ষেত্রেই সেটা চিলি পর্কেই সীমিত থাকে। এখানে এসে ভর দুপুরে টাকা গচ্ছা দেবার ইচ্ছে না থাকায়, চিকেন থালি দিয়েই শুরু করলাম।

প্রথমেই একটা ডেটক্স স্যুপ এলো, আদা, ধনেপাতা দিয়ে। ভালোই ঝাঁজ ছিল। একটু অপেক্ষার পরেই এলো থালি, ভাত ও ডাল যত ইচ্ছে, বাকি সব কিছুই একবার করে। জোহা ভাত আমাদের গোবিন্দভোগের ভাইপো, মুসুর ডাল, তড়কার ডাল তবে তড়কা নয়, ছোলা দিয়ে শাক ভাজা, লাউয়ের সবজি, সবুজ রঙের চিকেন কারী (কিসব দেয়া বুঝলাম না, হ্যাঁ ধোনে পাতা ও গোলমরিচ বেশি করে দেওয়া), শেষ পাতে এলো পায়েস কিন্তু মিষ্টিটা একটু কম তাই রুচল না, এইসবের থেকে সব চেয়ে নজর করলো চিকেন পাতুরি ও চিকেন খরিকার মেলবন্ধন, অসাধারণ খেতে এটা, স্বাদের বাঁধুনি তাই অন্য রকম অনেকদিন মনে থাকবে।

এই থালি একজনের জন্য যথেষ্ট কিন্তু শেষে একটু অন্য কিছু খেতে ইচ্ছে করে মোচা দিয়ে পায়রার মাংস খেলাম। পায়রার মাংসের পরিমান কম হাড় বেশি ও টুকরো গুলো খুবই ছোট। মোচার স্বাদ এতই শক্তিশালী যে পায়রার মাংসের আসল স্বাদ বোঝা যায়না।

সব খেয়ে একটাই কথা বলার, প্রথম অসমীয়া খাবারের অভিজ্ঞতা মোটামুটি, খুব ভালো শুধু চিকেন খরিকা ও পাতুরি। পর্ক খাবার ইচ্ছে থাকলেও এবার হলো না পরের বার সুযোগ হলে অবশ্যই খাবো।
