i loved this cafe! i am a local sydney sider who just wants a pleasant experience, a good coffee & delicious food. man, did this place deliver! i was instantly impressed with the friendlyservice& inner city decor. the flat white was made to perfection, and whilst i didn't love the earthy flavoured bean, i still enjoyed it! i ordered the heirloom tomato/avocado/goats cheese thing & my gosh it tasted great. every element was perfect & even though this is a common aussie dish, it was one of the best versions i've had. i was also surprised at how much i got on my plate. usually you only get enough for one slice of bread, but i found i was packing on so much avocado and goats cheese onto every bite of toast.

overall amazing experience & i can't wait to go back there again!!!

great place!. had an awesome breakfast this morning. place is pretty biusy on saturday morning. was waiting for 10- 15 min but it was worth of!servicewas fast but the food more than delicious ! can't remember when recently i had such a good breakfast. coffee was ok !

came here for brunch one day to try out their baked eggs. we did have to wait about 10-15 minutes but it wasn't that awful of a wait, seemed to go really quick.
food was decent, and coffee was good as well. theservicewas friendly, and really nothing to complain about. definitely go and eat here! mr zonks

we’ve been wanting to come here for so long. we finally made it and it was not a disappointment. loved the lamb baked eggs with the crispy bread on the side. the fruit juice (we go apple, orange and ginger) was super refreshing and the snickers milkshake was so worth every calorie. dishes were fulfilling and the prices were not bad.servicewas also great. highly recommended.

a nice little place for brunch. i really enjoyed the frenchie, it was excellent - a flavourful dish 😍 i tried some of the fries and loved them, it was covered in so many spices which was tasty. friendlyserviceand generous portions. it was quite busy when we got there but we were lucky a table was made available for our party of 6.

surry hills is always a good place to find great breakfast or brunch.serviceis good, great french toast with that amazing maple serup! not a big place but really nice food and service

the french toast is out of this world. if i could dream up a french toast, this would be it. generous serving size and presented beautifully. great coffee.servicecould be a little friendlier but fine for the most part.

i've eaten at four ate five countless times over the years, and it's generally pretty good in terms ofserviceand food. last week and a few times recently i've noticed however that when they wipe the tables down in between new customers, they use a sopping wet rag that smells of mould. this is not only highly infective at cleaning tables, but also can further the spread of harmful pathogens and bacteria. the wet rag left a fungal smell that lingered in the area for a good 5 minutes. i'll definitely eat here again, i just suggest that they implement a new cleaning protocol.

wow, this place gets busy on a sunday morning but it is well worth waiting for! inside or out? get amongst it with the enthusiastic diners inside even though it is 38 degrees and probably hotter in the kitchen.serviceis good considering how busy they are! great coffees to start. fight the power superfood smoothie with banana, cacao, soy milk, toasted almonds, dates and cardamon is thick and delicious too. chose the breakfast bowl and the mexican! (see photos) both amazing choices and enough sustenance to see you through to late afternoon! highly recommend!

terrible customer service. we arrived on a sunday (11/6/17) around 11am knowing we'd have to wait for a table - totally fine/expected.
the experience went horribly south when the waiter at the door in charge of taking names was incredibly rude and barely acknowledged us. after 15 minutes of waiting, we had to approach her and when we tried to arrange a table for two, she gave us attitude and killed the entire experience!
we love the food but the customerserviceis horrible!

absolutely terribleserviceby a waitress (short with black hair in a pony tail) this morning. my partner and i waited 20 minutes for a table outside with two seats. we were offered tables inside on two occasions which we politely declined as preferred to sit outside. finally there was a vacant table with three seats available which we asked to be seated at yet the aforementioned waitress told us that a group of three would be seated there. upon looking at the queue of people outside, there were no groups of three waiting - only couples. when the waitress came outside again we asked who the three people were as there were clearly no groups of three - she then proceeded to give us attitude, insisting that she was about to seat a group of three (again- there were only couples waiting to dine!!!) then went back inside.
we then spoke to another waitress and explained the situation - she was super friendly and apologized. however when the first waitress saw us talking to the other lady, she then came out and blatantly lied - saying that she did indeed offer us the outside table when she never did!!! ugh! what's with the lying?!
won't be returning here which is a shame as the food is delicious.

this place is consistently good, theserviceis always on point and super friendly. i think it's the best place on crown st to get coffee and it's a nice to sit on the outdoor tables and people watch.

at the recommendation of my cousin, we tried this place out for a coffee and a bite to eat. a busy little inner city sydney cafe. bustling with locals and regulars.
theserviceis pretty good here.
the food and coffee quite decent too. some nice food choices.
if this is in your neighbourhood them go check it out. even though its over 1000kms out of my neighbourhood it was still worth the visit.

these guys have gone out of their way with customerserviceand the food was amazing. easily best veggie burger i've ever had. worth the wait!
