flatbread neapolitan pizzeria

service was good. the cocktails were also good (bacon arugula bloody mary and raspberry lemon drop) even though they were a buck or two more than they needed to be.

we also had their mac n cheese and a personal sized pizza with sausage, pepperoni and mushrooms. the mac n cheese had a very good taste (smoky flavor) but was ridiculously greasy.

the pizza was a letdown. the crust has the potential to be quite good but was made soggy by the fact their toppings had too much moisture. their pizza "sauce" looks homemade, so kudos on that. but, you need to reduce it a bit so it is truly a sauce and not so watery. this is what destroyed what might have been a good crust. the sausage had a real grainy texture (not good) and the pepperoni looked like the tiny round pieces you'd find on a personal sized frozen pizza at the supermarket. all in all the pizza was surprisingly bad for the fact that they have such an awesome wood fired pizza oven at their establishment.

all these things being said theplacehas a great environment.

tried a flatbread pizza, a neapolitan pizza and the prosciutto wrapped shrimp app. app and neapolitan pizza were good and the pot roast and potato flatbread was excellent. server couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. this isn't your cheap and large college pizzaplacebut more focused on quality and flavors. i can't wait to go back.

best lunch in downtown. flat bread is the bestplacein downtown boise to go eat for lunch. i eat here at least everyother week. the pick two lunch deal is great. i love the bbq chicken pizza and tomato soup the best.

like it!. great pizza (and the only otherplacei eat pizza is at guidos) and nice atmosphere. was first introduced to flatbread when we received a gift card from my s-i-l who really likes it as well.

rise of the flatbread. thisplaceserves authentic neopolitan pizza. to some people, this is important. i don't really care. what i like about thisplaceis that all of the food is presented in a way that preserves the original flavors of its ingredients. i like the vitality that the restaurant has. they have a 'make your own pizza' for the kids, and the staff really seems to enjoy their job and this loyalty is infectious as they interact with customers. i really enjoy the pick two lunch special. i want the recipe for the mac and cheese (with bacon!) my favorite location is at bown's crossing because the owners allow pets on the patio. (the additional bonus is that i can sneer at the deserted patio across the street at locavore) simple, elegant, natural, that's what fco is all about.

delicious!. flatbread always hasdelicous pizzas, flatbreads, salads and desserts. staff is always friendly. one time we got seated and were forgotten about for about 20 min. i went up to the bar and told them and they more than made it right by giving us free desserts! my favorite pizzaplacein meridian!

thisplaceis awesome! the salads are killer and the pizza is delicious. the flatbread appetizers are epic!

love it!. fco is a really greatplacewith fantastic pizza! i love the tuscan chicken, bianco magnifico, and bbq chicken pizzas. i used to go to the one at bown crossing all the time, but now i usually hit the one downtown. bit of a pain when picking up a pizza at the one downtown due to limited parking close by, but great to drop in and eat at when i'm walking around.

really great stuff and the staff is really great, as well.

people too. the food at the fco is great. as we dined i found myself pausing the meal to observe the dynamics of the people enjoying frends and food. greatplaceto people watch.
