lotsa fun, good food and kid friendly. and it is awesome to see the root beer being made!

amazing experience!! i have three kids and the server was wonderful to them. the atmosphere was fun and food was good. this is a restaurant you must visit whether you live in stl or are just visiting!!

fun for everyone!. it's always a great experience at fitz's for the entire family! this is the place we make sure we take out of town guests every time we get the chance...they are really great at catering to large parties! :) i highly recommend for anybody young and old.

fun place to go eat, nice staff and good food. i would recommend the fish tacos or turkey burger! the new recipe for the turkey burger is great!!!

quite the unique bbq sauce on the pulled pork. great lunch but should have sat at the bar away from the gaggle of kids.

we enjoyed our visit. we were seated quickly but it took a while for anyone to come by and take our drink order. being from out of town this was a new experience. we had questions and the waitress kind of tried to rush us into decisions. the root beer float and cherry bomb float my kids ordered were huge! i had the grilled portobello sandwich which was awesome. overall it was a great experience.

perfect family celebration for graduation. we had a great time at fitz's to celebrate our daughter's middle school graduation. even though the restaurant was busy, we got great service from our waiter vince and all of family enjoyed grill food and a variety of different floats using fitz's root beer. our daughter was all smiles when she was presented with a bottle of fitz's root beer with a happy graduation label.

this is a massive, industrial grade restaurant, almost like a front of a factory (which it is). they have tons of seating options and tons of root beer floats. however i felt their burgers were excellent, even though that's not their specialty. i would recommend a visit any time you drop by the area.

a very cool and unique atmosphere. eat great food while watching the bottling process through a clear wall and top it off with an awesome rootbeer float.

they got 3 different seating areas - one outdoor garden-like area, one sports lounge where they have screens and one regular(family kind) sitting area.the burgers are pretty heavy. they are meaty but lack the taste. tried root beer for the first time in my life and realised it is terrible and why i never tried it before. the staff is courteous and service is prompt.

service was great and fast. portions were huge; we could have easily split anything we ordered as still had leftovers. the float was delicious!

our waitress was so sweet, doing her best on a night when obviously little help could be lined up to work the tables. but the food. decidedly mediocre. gumbo that looked like a pile in a bowl. turkey reuben dry. fish not bad but the fries less than burger king. fitz food? oh, well.

we had a large group (20+people) but fitz's was able to accommodate us at one big table so we could all be together. our waiter was very nice and helpful and we all received our food around the same time despite the many orders placed and some people in the group who arrived late. food was also delicious - some table favorites were the sunshine burger, the pulled pork, and the chicken tenders. overall, great service and great food! thank you, fitz's!!

burgers are delicious. shakes & floats are amazing. interesting to watch when they are bottling their sodas. thank god i don't live close. i'd be huge.

awesome floats await you at fitz's. service was great. large portions of ice cream. would have liked an extra glass of soda to help balance it out. we just came for dessert, so i cannot comment on the food, but i can highly recommend the ghostbuster. if you are lucky you might also get to see their bottling operation in action.

very pissed off at the way my family was treated this evening. we arrived around 9:15 and were never told the place closed at 10pm. it shouldn't have mattered but apparently it did... ok, so we couldn't decide on what to order so in the meantime we ordered 1 app and several flavors of soda...when the drinks arrived a we ordered our entrees and waited for our food to arrive. the kitchen was slow so the kids decided to play some pool...finally the food arrived but the order was incomplete and the waiter said he'd be right back with my food and left. right after he left we realized that 2 of the dishes were missing their sauces...about 7 or 8 minutes later while my wife and daughters food was getting cold the waiter finally came back with my food but but he had to go back downstairs for my wife and daughter's sauces. it sounded good so i had the bbq sampler. my food wasn't really hot (the turkey...not really turkey but more of a deli loaf...was barely room temp) but i was hungry and we had already waited what seemed like a long time so i decided to not ask for it to be warmed up...at 10pm my wife ordered 3 floats for dessert and exactly 5 minutes later the waiter came back to apologize that they couldn't be made "because the bar was closed". really??? the freakin' bar was closed??? since when does a restaurant refuse to complete a meal five minutes after closing time??? the food was fair at best, not sure what to make of the service...didn't the waiter want to pad his check with another $20? the manager must have known i was pissed because at least one other waitress mentioned the problem to me...and no one came to apologize (expect an irate call to the restaurant and corporate!). so service was poor. this place is probably fun with food that is tolerable...provided you're there at least an hour or two before closing...otherwise expect incredibly crappy food and service.
