gone down hill.... got rid of "sushi sunday", happyhouroptions aren't as great, food although still priced high is now average tasting and made, and most if all? the service outside is just bad. but hey, it's orlando that's kind if normal here...this place was one of my favorites up until this past year. sad to see it go down like this.

great outdoor area and happyhourspecials - sushi sunday is a great time to go!

excellent happyhourprices and the best ribeye i have had in many years. we will be back.

fantastic happyhourand atmosphere! outdoor bar is great for a cocktail and sushi. great for the price!! put on your boat shoes and go!

best steak in seminole county. i (scott bender orlando) have been coming to fishbones lake mary ever since they opened a few years ago. when i ran sosocial sosocial orlando networking events, fishbones hosted several of our networking happyhourevents and business luncheons and did a fantastic job!

i love happyhourat fishbones. the outdoor patio is great, but for me, the cool and intimate inside bar is my preference. all of the bartenders are great and even when slammed; know how to be attentive to the guests. they always remember my special martini.

the food at fishbones is always consistently great and have the best steak in seminole county!

most of the meals i eat at fishbones are at the bar. great service, attentive bartenders and an operating partner (mary varouh) who really and genuinely cares about her staff and customers.

last night, i had the pleasure of another awesome dinner (filet mignon) and their brand new buttery cheesy bread. wow, it was perfectly cooked and the service by stephanie at the bar was the best ever.

if you are looking for a great steak (or seafood), fishbones lake mary is definitely worth every penny! if you are looking to entertain a group, they also have really nice private rooms and are so accommodating to any budget.

let mary or any of the bartenders know scott bender orlando florida referred you. you will not be disappointed and have a fantastic meal!

great happyhourwith excellent food at very good prices. dinner is pricy, but you get a huge amount of very good food. service is excellent and the ambiance is very pleasant.

nice atmosphere. this facility has a very nice and inviting atmosphere. went there during happy hour, very crowded on the patio but it looked enjoyable. the happyhourwas decent, most things were half priced. the happyhourmenu stated $2 draft beers, although not all draft selections were available, only 4 of the 8 or so.

happyhourbliss. my husband originates from orlando and introduced me to fishbones about 2 years ago. now everytime we go back down to visit we have to make it over for happy hour. i can not find shrimp like they have there any where else, the oysters are amazing, and i just discovered the mussels are to die for.

never had a bad experience, and have been there many many times.

great food, great happy hour!. a friend of mine coerced me into this little joint for happyhourwhile i was in town. i am usually apprehensive to eat a restaurant during happy hour--the crowds and the overloaded kitchen usually don't make for the best dining experience. fishbones, though, completely abolished these apprehensions.

the food that we were served was spot on: seasoned wonderfully and served promptly. the half-price sushi (during happy hour) was a fantastic addition to our dinner.

great find. my husband and i went to the happyhourthis past weekend and were really surprised. we sat in the outdoor patio dining/bar area. it was classy and relaxed.. the service was excellent. the food was perfect. we tried everything but the shrimp cocktail. the tuna tacos were incredible! i had the house chardonnay and he had a vodka gimlet. since the price was low we thought the drink would be ok. but it was actually perfect. you would think that a vodka gimlet is hard to screw up....but amazingly it happens. all in all we had a great time, it was a perfect date night. we will definitely return

great seafood inland?. i live on the west coast of florida and fishbones in lake mary annihilates everything in the st. pete/sarasota/tampa area.

the ahi entree is always generous and cooked to perfection. but it's the fresh oysters that hook me. they are incredible and i could just order those over and over again and be perfectly happy doing that for anhouror two.

we travel to the heathrow area only once or twice a year but this restaurant is always on our must do list.

this is a great spot for large parties. they accomodated us for a coworkers going away party with only a weeks notice for the reservation. for a party of 12 - on what was indeed a busy night- that was pretty cool. i opted for the salmon with the saffron orzo - both were divine. they have a good wine selection, a full bar and many delicious appetizers. that's why we had a happyhourafter work there a few days later. this place is not cheap but worth it.

awesome happy hour!!!!. fishbones has the best happyhouroffer ever! half-priced draft beer, half-priced sushi menu (the whole sushi menu, not just one or two rolls!), baked oysters, 1.25 shrimp cocktail, and (i think?) half priced fried calamari.

while the bar area used to be packed on a friday or saturday night, it seems the economy took a huge toll on the patronage so they had to come up with a great deal to get customers to come back. take advantage of this happyhourspecial while you can. now that the weather has warmed up a bit you can enjoy happyhourat their outdoor bar without freezing.

a bit better than average. fishbones has been a good lake mary staple for quite some time. it offers some of the best sushi, steaks, and seafood in the area at fairly reasonable prices for the type of establishment. the quality of the food was always matched with top notch service in a warm inviting atmosphere.

for a nice refreshing starter, try the blue crab. severed in a martini glass on a bed of romaine lettuce, the crab meat is succulent, sweet and has smooth texture. if you never had crab before, this is the one to try. if you have a larger group, try the sampler platter. not only do you get the blue crap martini, but fresh oysters, jumbo shrimp cocktail, and smoky bbq shrimp.

i am a meat lover, so you will find a good steak here. while my bias for the best steak in the central florida is still del frisco's, fishbones still has several great options. try either the dry age bone-in ribeye, ny strip, or the prime rib if available. eating the bone-in ribeye reminds me of the flintstones, a huge piece of meat with the rib bone attached. definitely a choice for the hearty of appetites. if you want a lighter fair, go with the lamb chops.

fish and sushi lovers will also not be disappointed. one good thing is the seafood menu does change based on the seasonality of the fish. my personal favorites are mirin-wasabi glazed black cod, yellowfin ahi tuna, and the blackened grouper.

currently they are offering a great happyhourfor sushi lovers, 50% off the sushi menu between 4:30 and 6:30 monday through saturday. my only concern has been the cooked food during this happy hour. during my last two visits during happy hour, both my dishes were over cooked. the first time, i ordered chicken and it was extremely dry and over cooked. the saffron orzo was also over cooked and had the texture of wall paper paste. the second time, my prime rib was also overcooked and had a lot of connective tissue. hopefully the standards will come up to par really soon as i know they can produce higher quality food.

overall i would give them 3.75 out of 5. if they can improve the quality during happy hour, 4 out of 5.
