why you so crabby. went to the grill because they had ayce crab legs....didn't know it would be portioned out one leg at a time....food cost lesson...corn on the cob cost less than crab...so when you say can i have some more corn...do it ...instead i was forced to eat crab....not so bad but when you get one portion at a time....it gets tiring....left and got a hamburger and i noticed another couple got bad and left too....however the rest of the meals looked great

great catfish!. at least once a week, i find myself wanting to visit fish city grill. i crave their catfish. tender, flavorful and the perfect, crispy, southern, cornmeal breading! their key lime pie is absolute perfection! we've tried most of their po'boys and they are all great (not the oyster). the louisiana pot roast is delicious. for starters, i like the fried pickles and the coconut shrimp (the best i have ever tasted were from bahama breeze, but since they are no longer in business in dfw, these will take their place at the top). the service has ranged from dismal to nearly perfect.

good food, fair price. fish city grill has limited seating, but usually there's no wait. they have quite good food at reasonable prices. their menu selection is rather eclectic but (as you may be able to tell from the name) it is based on various sea food dishes.

good place for grilled fish. for those of us in ne tarrant, finding a good piece of fish is quite a challenge. sadly, clear creek seafood of keller closed down earlier in the year, which pretty much left us with the national or corporate chains such as red lobster, copeland's or trulucks. fish city grill is a locally based chain with corporate ambitions, and have started to open around the country. but the concept is a good one - a neighborhood fish joint. lunch portions and prices are not too bad, and i recommend the blackened fish dishes. you can find the southlake location on southlake blvd, just west of tx-114 in a new strip mall, anchored by baja's bar & grill. regular rjg readers will know the area, as johnny b's is right across the parking lot.

get the specials here--they're all made with frsh fish and are very good. non-special items are frozen and are just so so.

short review. just a short review, this is a nice place although i've only been for lunch. not a "best ever" place but quite decent. they have very good calamari though.
