love it. it is the best and freshest food! the prices are great. after reading the negative review about calling in an order, makes me wonder. does the reviewer call in an order to mcdonald's as well? you tell the staff at the counter what you want and they make your order in front of you. the time in the line is short and they are efficient. great place

lo mejor. love this place. you can sit in the bar and get bombed on good margaritas and get up every so often for a taco or flauta. i could live here.

good burritos and drinks!. this is my favorite burrito place in new orleans so far. the burritos are yummy and cheap. they have a good variety for the drink menu and the drinks are made fresh (no sour mix here):) my only negative is the staff who make the burritos- they are pretty rude and they are literally slapping the ingredients on your burrito with bitterness that they are at work- oh well- maybe i just went on bad days. my suggestion would be to hire people who actually appreciate that they have a job:) anyway- overall very good!

perfection!. the one word to describe felipe's is: perfection! this stop was on recommendation of a friend. the food was absolutely wonderful, it was fast, everything had a fresh taste, watching them fresh cut the veggies for the food was nice and made me excited about the freshness. the prices are better than typical drive through stops. the menu is very detailed and the selection allow for making it your way. i would recommend this stop to anyone visiting the french quarter.

ohhhhh felipe's is soooo yummy! fresh and delish...very inexpensive for french quarter food. me and my husband had an entree each, an appetizer, and bottled drinks for $17. the chicken tacos were very yummy and some of the best guacamole i have had. definitely going back!

eh.... i ordered a burrito "al pastor" on two occasions. i thought the filling was pretty decent though not what i remember meat "al pastor" tasting like at other restaurants (maybe it's a regional variation?). the burrito itself was oddly rubbery and the salsa bar was lacking. i think the worst aspect of felipe's though is really the awful service. i'm sorry but the bartender in particular was so rude and dismissive of all the customers around him that it was hard to believe he was even working for tips.

terrible service!!!. i decided to try this restaurant since its so close to my work and the just started delivering since i cant leave the office on lunch... i called and was asked to be put on hold for 5-6 minuets to get someone to take my order which i had no problem with after being on hold for over 15 mins i got hung up on so i called back. i have never eaten here and after reading all the reviews being so good i was eager to try it. when i called back i was told that in fact they had no one who could take my order.... i asked what i should do since i wanted to eat here and the worker on the phone was very rude and unfriendly almost yelling that she had no one to take my order and i would have to wait on hold for yet another 5-15 mins... terrible and rude service!!

my girlfriend and i always refer to it as "ole faithful" as when we are hungry and in need of a quickie cheap bite during our quarter bike rides, we tend to end up here. i would say for the price you pay, you get the same if not better quality of food than at more polished mexican-type places. the al pastor meat is really flavorful. they would do better to give you more than one napkin though.

it’s awesome that there are places in new orleans that you can get a full and delicious meal for $5.50 (super burrito). my favorite is the steak burrito or chorizo burrito, depending on my mood.

not too shabby for "authentic" mex. pretty good spot around the fq for that late night mexican fix. its a little ways off the beaten path, but well worth the wait. nice atmosphere, and fairly inexpensive. overall worth a look if you're craving texmex/mexican food.

likes it. i'm from so. cal and this place equals many of the taqueria's in la. the flavor is authentic, although the salsa bar is not quite up to par. they don't have pico de gallo out , but do have 3 kinds of red sauce and one green sauce out. the meat was flavorful and everything was made fresh. the price was reasonable and is a good place for a cheap (inexpensive) meal in fq.

just tried it for the 1st time tonight and loved it! being from california and just moving to new orleans, i am so thankful to have found cheap mexican food made the way it should be. this place will definitely be hit up many times during my next year here in the big easy.
