love dean! love the food. ate there memorial day weekend and the experience was great. the room was beautiful, the service was attentive without being annoying and thefoodwas excellent. our waiter accidentally brought tortilla soup, which i love, but i had ordered the lobster bisque. it was replaced immediately with apologies. lobster bisque worth the short wait. i also had the generous piece of halibut that was perfectly prepared. my husband had the beef tenderloin special and it was also perfectly prepared, flavorful and beautifully presented. we split the banana pudding--now i know why it's a popular choice. (we usually aim for chocolate but it seemed to heavy at that point)
we dressed for dinner and many others did also, but we saw several tables that were dressed nicely casual. we did not feel it was stuffy at all.
for 2 adults, each with a glass of wine, an appetizer a piece, an entree a piece and a shared dessert, it was $162. we didn't think that was bad at all for a dinner there. plenty of place to spend that in dallas, might as well be here.

this restaurant is what a high-end dining experience is meant to be. we came here for thanksgiving and i thought i was going to be disappointed because the menu was pre-fixed, but nope; i was extremely satisfied.

i had their halibut and the preparation of this fish was so delicate and spot on. it was cooked to perfection. it's like those moments when you get something so delicious that you just have to close your eyes and savor the moment while thefoodplays on your tongue. i would definitely recommend this spot to anyone visiting this area. if you live in dallas, you're lucky to have such a wonderful spot in your backyard.

good place to people watch but that's about it.
bad quality of food. the steak had to be sent back because it was not medium rare. i mean guys you are a steakhouse practically, you are in texas. how can you get the medium rare on a steak so wrong. the service is overbearing. no i don't want my wine glass filled to the rim. and please stop pestering your guests. wine list is good. but as they sayfoodis king.

people who live life worrying about having crazy greatfoodand service on each birthday need to go to fearing’s. service being out of control perfect is something that’s often hard to find. who wants to worry about being turned & burned on their birthday? fearing’s would love for you to stay as long as your brain tells you to. every time we have ever been to fearing’s, we’ve been blown away by the entire experience. dean fearing is tofoodlike sinatra is to new york city. he is the chef-bomb.

on occasion words cannot capture the flavors and nuisances of the moment. such was my introduction to fearing's this evening.
do not let any lackluster review discourage trying fearing's. the quality offoodis superb and a special thanks to paul botamer the wine director for our special lesson in the dessert wines. my wife and i went for a special dinner but enjoyed an evening far more special that we had anticipated.
this is a new "must do" for us when we visit from okc. thanks to all the crew, jesus our primary waiter, paul and everyone else who made this a dining "experience", not just a fine meal.

fine dining at its best. if you want to treat yourself, get swanky and have some great food, then go the fearings and go hungry! thefoodis delicious, and dean fearing personally comes out and sees each table so that's always a nice touch. they offer a vegetarian menu as well, and seasonal dessert menu. all thefoodis wonderful, the hardest part is deciding what to have.

staying at the ritz on valentines day was by far an exciting ordeal.
in addition to the ritz it was luck that w also got a table last minute into fearing's because we went to happy hour for complimentary cocktails and hor devours. we enjoyed ourselves so much we camceled our reservation at the palm and decided to stay when abtable was offered.
thefoodwas fantastic! the bisque, sea bass, and the french martinis were beyond expectations. a very swanky place as it reminded me of a future episode of "the real housewives of dallas". the highlight of the night was when chef fearing himself came to our table to ask us how we enjoyed our meal. he was very polite and quite friendly. the atmosphere of the restaurant would have been great but the crowd was odd. besides that thefoodwas amazing, the drinks exciting, an the staff/management was very eager to make us happy.

an enjoyable experience. atmosphere and service are impeccable. interesting menu choices, and a vegetarian menu is available upon request. my vegetarian friend enjoyed her dish greatly, and i enjoyed my totally-not-vegetarian antelope as well. my only complaint is that the enchiladas that were served with it were a bit tough, and i felt that my dish was a little under-seasoned. a bit of salt did the trick -- which i find funny now after noticing other people's reviews, saying that theirfoodwas too salty. i guess fearing's cant seem to find the right balance of seasoning.

despite that, i would definitely come back again.

excellent experience at brunch. we had a party of 12. the service and atmosphere were great. the dining room is very nicely decorated. we were in the wine cellar room. it was nice that we all had our own room. thefoodwas was perfect and it was well proportioned. i had the 'whole enchilada' , could not finish all the food, brought dinner home with me. all of that for $45 plus tip. it was a great experience. i would love to return for dinner ... not today though still stuffed.

meh... the hubby and i were invited to a swanky engagement dinner for our closest friends at the ritz. we were so excited to finally go to the ritz (we just moved here from austin), so we made a weekend out of it and stayed overnight. the hotel was amazing but the restaurant inside the hotel,'fearings' was another story...
first off, the restaurant had a beautiful bar and room sections. our friends had rented out the wine cellar room which was unbelievable.
the service and atmosphere were impeccable unfortunately, thefoodwas not. i ordered the scallops and my husband had the chicken. when i took the first bite, i thought this had to be a joke. it literally tasted like i was eating pure salt. so, i tried a bite of my husbands chicken and voila salt again! i'm thinking our chef had no taste buds to serve this to us. it was completely inedible. we didn't want to be rude to our friends so we tried to manage through the salt horror and refrained ourselves from complaining to the waiter. let me tell ya...it was difficult. by the looks on other guests faces at our table, it looked like they were having a similar experience.
overall, we loved the ambiance of this place and the hotel. we will come back to have a drink at their gorgeous bar but never will eat here again.

four stars! great food!. this has to be one of the best dinning experiences anywhere. i haven't hadfoodthis good since i was in nyc. they are expensive, but that is to be expected with an establishment located at the ritz-carlton. the portions are not huge, but they aren't small either. a meal here for two with wine or cocktails will easily run you $200+ , but i will still be coming back again soon!

wonderful experience. went last nite with my spouse and daughter for her 14th birthday and had an incredible time.foodwas amazing...had the tenderloin with lobster over loaded smashed potatoe. beautiful piece of been! my daughter had quail as an app and shrimp taco for dinner. she loved it. my husband had the antelope and raved about it. somewhere in there was a pork belly. omg! and best banana pudding i've ever had. the service is outstanding. somehow they marry the formality of the restaurant with friendly, laid back attitudes. chef fearing cam.e to our table three seperate times to check on us. i will definately go back for special ocassions. oh and the rattlesnack bar is lots of fun too.

hot aire. geeez! this place is so full of it self. i have never felt so unwelcome in a restaurant. i stay at ritz carlton hotels all the time for work. so it wasn't the environment, i just found all of the staff to be a little too proud of themselves. if thefoodwas good, trust me, i would have overlooked the attitude. but thefoodwas very average. they should stick to preparingfoodfor american airlines.
