"great find!" good food at good prices. i went simple during my visit. bbq chicken was excellent as it fell off the bone while still having a nice crisp skin and tasty sauce. contrary to some reviews our meal was paired with fast and friendly service. well done!

if you like authentic cuban food - this place is a must while in key west. the wait staff was very attentive and the food arrived within minutes of ordering (even though the place was busy). the fried half chicken had crispy and tasty outside with a moist, tender, and flavorful inside. the roast pork was moist and flavorful - it just melted in your mouth. the plantains were also cooked to perfection. my boyfriend who i had dinner with was impressed by the quality of the food - he said it was just like the food he ate while in cuba.

absolutely delicious! this is a place you won't find unless you're seeking it out as its within walking distance to duval st but well off the beaten path...but word travels fast as it was packed (line when we got there line when we left) on a monday night! but we were seated quickly and service was very efficient. i had the stuffed shrimp and my husband had the garlic chicken which nearly melted in your mouth. and the maduros? sooo delicious, the perfect mix of crispiness on the edges and sweetness!

the real deal. cute little place that is clearly a local favorite judging from the lunch crowd the day i went.

nothing fancy, but clean and pleasant.

friendly, efficient service.

i had the piccadillo, with yellow rice and plantains. while not the best i've ever had it was nonetheless very tasty and authentic. i like my piccadillo with raisins, which were missing from the siboney recipe, and i like the olives chopped a bit more so they blend in better. but the meat and seasonings were done just right, and i gobbled this reasonably priced meal right down.....

nice local spot, great cuban food. also great prices and portion compared to other rest in area. i like the childbirth breast plate but be sure you are very hungry it is "man" sized.

yummy in my tummy. had bit of trouble finding this little restaurant that the concierge recommended. it was every bit worth it! i thoroughly enjoyed this place & would recommend it to anyone looking for cuban fare in key west!

one of the best deals on the island!!. the skirt steak is extremely tasty (around $15 with sides), the chicken is very good ($10 for half chicken with sides), and the sides are good also. while i have only tried a limited part of their menu (have my favorites), their food is good quality and the prices are very reasonable for on the rock! i don't know about the other poster's comment about impersonal servers.....we always find them more than friendly and attentive. as far as the atmosphere comments.....well, i guess if i were a tourist i would be looking for some type of special atmosphere possbily. i'm looking for some quality food at decent prices.....el siboney has that/

for my money, simply the best cuban food you will find. puerco asado is awesome, the roast chicken did not disappoint either. everything is flavorful and authentic-and don't forget to leave with a jug of sangria for later!

good...not great. good food, no question. good value, no question. great? i think that may be an over-statement. i found the service to be prompt but impersonal. facility was clean and well maintained, albeit with a lack of personality. food was fresh and tasteful, while having a "fill the plate to the edge" appearance. prices were fair. would definitely go back, but just can't find enough support to call this one great.
