best food i've had in a while!! if i lived inkeywest i would be here every week!

a must visit inkeywest. recommended by locals here inkeywest you will not easily find this hidden gem by traveling the busy roads. tucked away with very little parking i was surprised to see how busy they get, even 8pm there was 5 min wait to get seated. i asked what the popular meal was they chose the siboney steak, yellow rice, plantains, black beans, cuban bread and a side of yucca fries. small portion does not exist here large meal everything was amazing except the service was a bit off they were super friendly with regulars (understandable). food was great i would comeback here again and you can not miss and visit when inkeywest.

had the grilled pork chops with shrimp and it was great. tender, tasty meat and firm, fresh grilled shrimp.

place rocks. when we went it was packed, but easy to get a seat. food was really good. a must go inkeywest. oh and you get what you pay for. a nice change for kw.

one of the most consistent recommendations we received was for el siboney cuban restaurant . lucky for us, this place lived up to the hype. a family run, basic place - this is right up my alley. the roast pork was moist and flavorful, made even better by hot sauce. the fish was fresh and spiced just right. i love maduros and these were no exception. if you are inkeywest and want some authentic cuban cuisine, go here! the plain exterior holds delicious surprises! fish with maduros, rice and beans.

simply the best!!. nestled back in a residential neighborhood, this little place offers the best cuban meal inkeywest. the famous, or should i say infamous, siboney steak was absolutely deliciously seasoned and tender. the plantains were the best i've ever ever had. i was delighted with the black beans, which are sometimes kind of an afterthought without much flavor, not so here! just delicious.keywest has so much to offer culinarily speaking, and this little gem ranks high on the list! i'll go back every chance i get!

this is the place to go if you are inkeywest and wanting to try cuban food for the first time. they bring you cuban bread to start off, which is delicious. we had the siboney steak and chicken enchirito (the tuesday special). both were great. we weren't impressed with the plantains, but they're the only ones we've ever had. we got fries for our little one and she loved the bread.

wonderful food!. my first time visitingkeywest so i had to try a few local places. very pleased that a fellow foodie chose this restaurant! when a place slightly off the beaten path is packed.....that's usually a good indicator. i had the roasted pork and it was amazing. maybe a tiny bit salty for me but i tend to think that about most dishes that others find to be perfectly seasoned. the entree was paired with yellow rice, black beans, and plantains. i don't typically enjoy plantains but these were cooked perfectly and i ate all of them. portions were very generous so i will be enjoying this meal for lunch tomorrow. prices were fair which is a nice change for a city with a high cost of living. the only negative thing i experienced was due to the small size of the restaurant paired with it's apparent extreme popularity, tables were really close together and we all felt crammed in. regardless, i would definitely return if i visit again and i think most of my group feels the same!

popular for good reason. enjoyed ropa veija, black beans & rice. fast, friendly service at reasonable price (forkeywest). limited parking so walk or ride your bike.

the best. i am naturally born native ofkeywest and the food can get no more authentic.

solid cuban, sordid wait times. this place is now an official tourist destination, thanks to their absolutely incredible skirt steak plate. it's something i dream about when i'm not inkeywest... yes, it's really that good.

what's not great is siboney's now a mandatory stop for cruise shippers, tripadvisors and cuban lovers, making this once quiet, in-the-know eatery a bonafide celebrity in old town. an hour wait is nothing these days. often times when biking past siboney on any event, you'll see literally 50 people milling about outside, waiting for a table. it's madness all in the name of meat.

i've converted!. what i found at one time to be sloppy cuban cuisine served on paper plates has now truly turned into the best cuban food in the fl keys. my last meal at siboney was just incredible.

best skirt steak i've ever had. perfectly seasoned.

paper plates?. i don't like eating from throw-away dishes and found the food and atmosphere at siboney to be just crappy.

i don't understand why this place is so popular on the island, but methinks it's a tourist thing. i rarely ever see a local eating there.

great vaca frita!. top meat quality on the vaca frita. also, they know how to make it perfectly! the sides were all very tasty. this place is a gem inkeywest.

el siboney was recommended to me before i went tokeywest on vacation and i'm so glad i went. it's tucked away into a neighborhood and looks like someone's house. it's easily missed. it's extremely authentic and so delicious - it's a must have while inkeywest.

price is good but the service is just average and the food was less than par. meats were very dry and lacked flavor. not a must see forkeywest

very rushed. very crowded at times but they are quick to seat you...this comes from quick service... to the extent of feeling rushed to order, etc. the whole fried fish was excellent. the liver steak was ok. our waitress was very cold and not helpful with any menu items. it was though we were a bother trying this restaurant. we will probably never go back. the food was ok butkeywest has much better to offer when it comes to the wholekeywest dining experience.
