excellent!. just to keep it short: the food here was spectacularly good. i had the lima bean soup (do not pass it up- creamy broth with huge chunks of ham and sausage) and the cuban mixed sandwich. an unusual version, not just ham and roast pork, but slices of other cold cuts - salami, and maybe something else - with lettuce, tomato and mayo. i usually hate the stuff they pile on, but here is was wonderful. the bread is perfect - crackling on the outside, soft, but chewy inside. my wife, though, killed it with the vaca frita. a huge plate loaded with the crispy shreds of beef and browned onions, plus a good portion of yellow rice, a bowl of black beans and an incredible pile of fried platanos, browned and crispy, but sticky and soft, like a wonderful flan. we loved every bite.
