i love cuban food. this is cuban food

we had dinner here. i had teriyaki chicken. the portion was huge. i couldn’t begin to eat it all. the dish was mediocre. the quality of the chicken wasn’t all that great. we were disappointed given the high rating.

good food. friendly staff. they recommended the dishes and the food was delicious. loved the yellow rice and seasoning. the sauce options are quite extensive as unique.

great cuban food. off the tourist trap path. lots of locals. not at all fancy but friendly and good house made sangria. fast service and inexpensive.

el siboney provides large portions, quick service, great prices, and specials. my family and i went there one afternoon and enjoyed the grouper, mahi mahi, roast chicken, bbq chicken, and the chicken enchilado. all the dishes were excellent and fairly cheap, with some of them being under the daily special. the yellow rice was excellent. we were given black beans but the red bean soup was amazing, maybe see if you could switch the black beans out for the red bean. we ordered a salad which came with home-made thousand island dressing. definitely give el siboney a visit!

perfect place for a cuban lunch. perfect size of diches. not expensive (for 3 people with beers it was 60$). one of our favorite meal in florida. go without any hesitation.

finest croissants ever. fine coffee, cafe au lait, a raspberry & chocolate croissant in a garden environment. very civil way to start the day. we will be back.

it is now pretty easy to pop over to havana for a authentic cuban meal or....

el siboney is the real deal from its authentic food to its authentic staff. the food has always been great. we have been coming here for over 20 years. looks, feels and tastes the same

they start with cuban bread. we ordered the fried pork chunks and the pork tamale. they were served with yellow rice and black beans. layered on top are sautéed onions. fried plantains are perfect.

friendly service at a reasonable price. we split the grilled shredded beef for lunch and it was excellent! the service was very friendly and accommodating. give the sangria a try, it is very good!

nearly every single thing i had here was above average. pricey but not bad. the steak was very tender, not the best taste i've ever had but good. the pork was very good, probably the best thing i've had there so far. the beans and rice were good and the rice could be eaten by itself. the cuban sandwich was the best one i've had here also, and i don't even like those usually. if this type of food is your thing i don't think you'd be disappointed.

this is the place to go if you are in key west and wanting to try cuban food for the first time. they bring you cuban bread to start off, which is delicious. we had the siboney steak and chicken enchirito (the tuesday special). both were great. we weren't impressed with the plantains, but they're the only ones we've ever had. we got fries for our little one and she loved the bread.

had the grouper, black beans, yellow rice. overall good. tostones for app...bland...but, add a little hot sauce and they became very tasty.

great cuban food here. this is a place that is in midtown so away from the bustle of duval, but it is always crowed. plan to go early or at an off time or except a wait outside. it appears to be a converted house, so it is cozy inside. very traditional cuban food and everything is great.

the meal was wonderful. from the tostones, to the roast pork to the cuban mix sandwich, everything was good. the only blemish was the roasted chicken was a bit dry. service was decent, but refills were non-existent. don't let that stop you from coming. it was our best meal thus far in the keys.

wonderful food!. my first time visiting key west so i had to try a few local places. very pleased that a fellow foodie chose this restaurant! when a place slightly off the beaten path is packed.....that's usually a good indicator. i had the roasted pork and it was amazing. maybe a tiny bit salty for me but i tend to think that about most dishes that others find to be perfectly seasoned. the entree was paired with yellow rice, black beans, and plantains. i don't typically enjoy plantains but these were cooked perfectly and i ate all of them. portions were very generous so i will be enjoying this meal for lunch tomorrow. prices were fair which is a nice change for a city with a high cost of living. the only negative thing i experienced was due to the small size of the restaurant paired with it's apparent extreme popularity, tables were really close together and we all felt crammed in. regardless, i would definitely return if i visit again and i think most of my group feels the same!
