a must visit in key west. recommended by locals here in key west you will not easily find this hidden gem by traveling the busy roads. tucked away with very little parking i was surprised to see how busy they get, even 8pm there was 5 min wait to get seated. i asked what the popular meal was they chose the siboney steak, yellow rice, plantains, black beans, cuban bread and a side of yucca fries. small portion does not exist here large meal everything was amazing except the service was a bit off they were super friendly with regulars (understandable). food wasgreati would comeback here again and you can not miss and visit when in key west.

el siboney provides large portions, quick service,greatprices, and specials. my family and i went there one afternoon and enjoyed the grouper, mahi mahi, roast chicken, bbq chicken, and the chicken enchilado. all the dishes were excellent and fairly cheap, with some of them being under the daily special. the yellow rice was excellent. we were given black beans but the red bean soup was amazing, maybe see if you could switch the black beans out for the red bean. we ordered a salad which came with home-made thousand island dressing. definitely give el siboney a visit!

first time doing cuban food and will be coming back for more! amazing food, refereed here by a local boat captain. party got the roast pork, skirt steak, and shrimp; all was amazing! i don't like plantains but these were amazing. also got a pitcher or sangria and where not disappointed.greatservice. couldn't ask for more.

legit cuban. i was born and raise in cuba. i know how to cook very well, my grandma cooks for me on a regular basis and i rarely eat cuban food outside of home. i have been there twice in a week, if that doesn't tell you the food isgreati don't know what will. i was skeptical of all the recommendations, nothing is better than what i get at home, but wow was i wrong (don't tell my grandma!) the fried fish was absolute perfection, just like everything else on my plate and plenty to share. the place looks like a house and i do not think anyone in the staff speaks fluent english which makes so much better. the food is definitely better than any cuban food you can get in miami. the prices and portions are breath of fresh air! if you want to taste real cuban sazon this place is a must. =)

solid cuban, sordid wait times. this place is now an official tourist destination, thanks to their absolutely incredible skirt steak plate. it's something i dream about when i'm not in key west... yes, it's really that good.

what's notgreatis siboney's now a mandatory stop for cruise shippers, tripadvisors and cuban lovers, making this once quiet, in-the-know eatery a bonafide celebrity in old town. an hour wait is nothing these days. often times when biking past siboney on any event, you'll see literally 50 people milling about outside, waiting for a table. it's madness all in the name of meat.

i've converted!. what i found at one time to be sloppy cuban cuisine served on paper plates has now truly turned into the best cuban food in the fl keys. my last meal at siboney was just incredible.

best skirt steak i've ever had. perfectly seasoned.

paper plates?. i don't like eating from throw-away dishes and found the food and atmosphere at siboney to be just crappy.

i don't understand why this place is so popular on the island, but methinks it's a tourist thing. i rarely ever see a local eating there.

great food in an authentic environment.. showed up and the line outside was long. don't be deterred. fast, no frills service.greatfood. reasonably priced. lots of options. they have american food, but why would you want to come here for that? definitely recommended.

roast pork. excellent lunch. the pork was so tender the yellow rice and black beans weregreatand the fried plantains were so sweet. the sangria was delightful. wait staff was friendly

hidden gem.greatplace to eat, big portions low prices!! the food isn't that bad either, who am i kidding the food is amazing. would like to see more juice options but overall a++

i'm local and i love the place. the atmosphere is nothing to rave about but the food more than makes up for it. large portions agreatcuban food and cheap for key west. i could eat there almost every day.
