great atmoshpere. great food. great prices. view is amazing. right on the beach. very casual and perfect for families with kids or a romantic evening!!

duke's is the most consistantly good restaurant i have ever experienced. one would have to try one's hardest to have a bad experience there, especially when the best salad bar on the island is complimentary with most entrees. try the mac nut crusted opah!

tropical itch # ????. my favorite at dukes was the tropical itch cocktails that actually came with a back scratcher! i would dine there once a week when i stopped off on kauai. the cream cheese won tons were awesome and we can't forget the hula pie...oh my it was sooo ono! i miss that place!

very good salad bar upstairs and the view is absolutely gorgeous! the food was pretty good as well but a little pricey.

reservations are a must for this popular restaurant! the food was mediocre for the price. however, the atmosphere is great place to relax have a couple of drinks with friends.

dukes is good. this is a good place to go to enjoy well prepated local fish. it is always cooked well, never over cooked, and the various options available for preparations are nice. the salad bar is standard salad bar for the most part and not too exciting. this is not the place to go for that one special meal, but a place to go when you want to be sure you are getting a nice dinner and a decent kauai price.

fabulous view & great food!. the food at duke's is very, very good and they have a huge selection of fish and a fantastic view of a quiet little cove in lihue. we had fish tacos and macadamia encrusted opakapaka and both were fantastic!
we will definitely go back on our next visit to kauai.

fantastic food, great valet set-up, and great service. we had the prime rib, ahi steak, and the hula pie. all exceptional. with drinks it ran about 85 including tip. all in all, expensive, but tasty
