late, bad, and expensive. terrible... i ordered four take out dinners and had a beer while i was waiting. waited almost one hour for the food (guess they thought i wouldordermore beers). kept asking why it was taking so long as it wasn't really that busy. after 45 minutes i finally grabbed the manager and started a screaming match with that idiot. i had already paid for the bill otherwise i would have left long ago. food finally came and i just grabbed it and left. when i got back to the hotel i discovered they totally messed up the order. we ate it, but it was really bad. horrible experience. stay away from that place

decent for beer and chicken fingers. we dropped by on a sunday afternoon for some beer and a snack. buckets of beer are priced as you would expect for a river street location. we split anorderof chicken fingers and fries. the chicken fingers were good enough, but i would have probably cooked them a tad bit longer for my taste. we did like their hand-cut fries.

the atmosphere is casual and relaxing. our waitress was prompt and attentive. it was not that loud even with tvs playing sports. all the other patrons seemed to be enjoying their meals and drinks. dubs is on the far end of river street so might not be noticed by many tourists.

do notorderthe ribs. great atmosphere, very friendly and nice wait staff. but, i ordered the special- the stout bbq ribs. what i got was a hunk of fat and bones. it was extremely difficult to get the 6 small bites of meat off of that i could. so, i ended up paying $11 for mac and cheese and vegetable medley, which made this 7 months pregnant lady literally break down into tears. because of the waitstaff being so nice to us, i decided not to embarrass my husband by complaining. i would go again, but never in a million years would i recommend anyone to get the ribs. you are warned.

disappointed to say the least. went to dubs on june 28 with some friends in town for the ymca gymnastics. i have to say that i was quite disappointed with both the service and the food. we had a party of 8 so a variety of items were ordered. first, the service was great at first but then the waitress seemed to forget about us. i was drinking beer and was only ever able toorderone. i actually had to go to the bar toordermy second. you'd think that our waitress would have realized that we were in a good mood and offered toorderus more drinks.

my food, shrimp tacos, came out first with my neice's food, shrimp and grits. my food was simply ok. nothing special. her shrimp and grits were simply awful. the waitress said they were unique and that they were. however, they had absolutely no flavor. i've tried many varieties of shrimp and grits and these weren't even tolerable. the rest of our food took approximately 30 min. to come from the kitchen. i had finished my food for at least 15 min before the last entree emerged from the kitchen. was there any thought of an apology or any acknowledgment of the delay or reason... no. as we polled the rest of our group about their meals we were met with unanimous "it was ok" or "pretty bad" responses. we dropped over $150 at dubs and it was an experience not worth $20.

for the money i would definitely not recommend this restaurant to anyone. while the menu is imaginative, the service and food quality is simply not up to par for the price.

awful service - be sure to sit at the bar or go somewhere else. the waitress told us we could go somewhere else after we flagged her down to place a drinkorderafter a very long wait. the game was long over and there is no excuse for the long wait and then the obnoxious attitude of the wait staff. seriously?? is business do good that you can dump on your customers? we will pass on this place for future visits to savannah. don't waste your time here. chuchill's isuch better.
