decent for beer and chicken fingers. we dropped by on a sunday afternoon for some beer and a snack. buckets of beer are priced as you would expect for a river street location. we split an order of chicken fingers and fries. the chicken fingers were good enough, but i would have probably cooked them a tad bit longer for my taste. we did like their hand-cut fries.

the atmosphere is casual and relaxing. our waitress was prompt and attentive. it was not that loud even with tvs playing sports. all the other patrons seemed to be enjoying their meals and drinks.dubsis on the far end of river street so might not be noticed by many tourists.

non falcon fans horrible service to include both general manager and manager on staff. were do i start. we went todubsto enjoy food and spirits along with watching the bears game. we were asked to move locations from one bar room to the next because the speakers were playing cow boy game. after 2 quarter's and half time our server finally came to check us. we asked to speak to manager and he argued that the speakers were playing the bears game. when he realized he was wrong he apologized and walked away. needless to say. .. serviced sucked! !!

not worth it. absolutely horrific experience. the atmosphere was really fun and inviting, but the bartender and staff were absolutely unwelcoming. my friends and i went in there on a sunday morning and were playing ping pong and my friend accidentally dropped his drink.. a waitress came out and was extremely hostile (to the point of cursing) towards us for dropping the drink. we ended up leaving and went to mcdonough's and had a great time. i will never spend another dollar indubsagain.

dubs - great food on river street. my family and i went todubsfor dinner on a saturday night. the food was delicious and the atmosphere was fun and relaxed! the jalapeño beer cheese with pretzels was the perfect appetizer, and our party of eight enjoyed a variety of items off the menu. everything was fresh and arrived at our table within a few minutes off each other. the value and quality of the food is better than most on river street and i was truly impressed. my only complaint was that the live band was a little loud, but we were able to sit towards the back of the restaurant and the music was pleasant. i would definitely recommenddubsfor a night out downtown!

dubs horrible grub. we have lived in savannah for the past five years, and enjoy trying new restaurants, sincedubsis advertised as restaurant for the locals ,we decided to try it. ok, so yesterday was the first and the last time we will eat at dubs. the service was so slow it took at least forty five minutes to get the food. i ordered the steak salad, the steak was raw and cold, with barely any dressing on it. i looked at the salad when it was delivered and told the waitress the steak looked raw. her response was oh no it is cooked properly. well one bite of a piece of cold bloody steak does not appeal to me. the sandwich my husband ordered had a flavor of old grease or cheap oily butter on the bun . yes we ate the food because we were so hungry and waited for such a long time for the food. i pushed the raw bloody meat on my salad to the side of the plate. when the waitress asked how we enjoyed the food we told her the food was really bad. she giggled and brought the check. guess what we do not recommend this restaurant.

disappointed to say the least. went todubson june 28 with some friends in town for the ymca gymnastics. i have to say that i was quite disappointed with both the service and the food. we had a party of 8 so a variety of items were ordered. first, the service was great at first but then the waitress seemed to forget about us. i was drinking beer and was only ever able to order one. i actually had to go to the bar to order my second. you'd think that our waitress would have realized that we were in a good mood and offered to order us more drinks.

my food, shrimp tacos, came out first with my neice's food, shrimp and grits. my food was simply ok. nothing special. her shrimp and grits were simply awful. the waitress said they were unique and that they were. however, they had absolutely no flavor. i've tried many varieties of shrimp and grits and these weren't even tolerable. the rest of our food took approximately 30 min. to come from the kitchen. i had finished my food for at least 15 min before the last entree emerged from the kitchen. was there any thought of an apology or any acknowledgment of the delay or reason... no. as we polled the rest of our group about their meals we were met with unanimous "it was ok" or "pretty bad" responses. we dropped over $150 atdubsand it was an experience not worth $20.

for the money i would definitely not recommend this restaurant to anyone. while the menu is imaginative, the service and food quality is simply not up to par for the price.

favorite new restaurant and bar. third time i've been atdubsand still haven't been disappointed. if you are a fan of local savannah bars such as the new b&ds on congress, wwings, and churchills this a place that you need to stop for a drink and meal. burgers are an incredible combination of short rib, sirloin and chuck which produce something incredible. beers on draft are all on point and the sports bar theme with a tv in every corner makes it easy to view any game on. the second floor also serves as a venuefor bands they bring on the weekends
