superb food and great service. the guntur kodi chicken and malabar parantha was amazing. definitely recommend for non veg food in ahmedabad.

it was our client who flew from germany and we have taken him to lunch which gives exposure to the culture of india and a place we can sit for a while and chat together about work.

we had south indian veg thali which is fully loaded with all dishes from andhra to kerala and all have their unique taste. special mention is paratha (too puffy and oil-less), appam, filter coffee (bang on forget about ccd or other coffee joints.)

their staff was so much polite and while serving every single dish even if that was salad or soup, they will explain to you very briefly about the ingredients and taste.

a lovely place ambience wise and the service was good too. the food that we ordered was the podi idly and chicken xacuti and mutton pepper fry and malabari parathas and appams. the mutton pepper fry was good not very spicy and the mutton soft the podi idlis also were good not spicy and had a nice flavour of gun powder. the dissappointing dish of the evening was the chicken xacuti. it looked like butter chicken tasted sour because of vinegar and had long onion pieces.. totally not the xacuti i was hoping and looking forward too. we left it and it was very graciously removed from our bill. they serve lots of fried papads which are really addictive and fill you up. the mango festival is going on and the mango halwa which the chef gave us complimentary was also not nice at all.. the chef very sweetly heard our inputs on the chicken xacuti.. maybe i should've not ordered that dish.. cheers

about fern it's 5 start luxurious hotel in ahmedabad having amazing cafe like fern, dravida and garden cafe.

about dravida it's my favorite at there :)

when we visited that time crog festival going on and they have prepared very well :)

i will definitely give full mark for there service , food taste and food presentation.

excellent food. very different and authentic taste. must try for once.
we had bissibelebhat which was average.
panner ki sabji and kerela paratha was outstanding. and a great delight was pan in the end.

we had ‘south indian’ dinner, authentic one:
starter: kuzhi paniyaram
main course: rasa kaya - mix veg cooked in tangy spicy gravy
avial: a kerala speciality made with coconut, shallots and green chillies yoghurt.
and bisibela rice!

along with 5-6 types of pickles- lasun, green chilli, poddy with spoonful of ghee, mango, and more in pickles..

we all were out of words to describe the taste of food! so authentic and soul satisfying!!

an awesome unexplored south india place. those who love eat non-veg, should visit this place for the original south india taste. the best thing was the paratha.

have been here twice.. 1st time had a good experience.. 2nd time was pathetic. waited for more than an hour for food.

the dravida is a must try restaurant, with a different menu to what we usually have as south indian cuisine. the food is amazing. i have already visited the restaurant thrice and have had a great experience all the time. i would specially like to thank mr teevramani singh and the whole team who let us host a beautiful anniversary dinner for our parents. i would definitely like to visit again.
